Prami disaster!

Ok guys....I first heard about Prami by reading here on the board. I researched it and thought it would work well with my gyno. The sexual benefits were going to be nice too.

Well to make a long story short....I was taking .5mgs and day....Today I up'd my dose to 1mg. One in a half hours after my 1mg dose...I was in my office at work...breaking out into a severe cold sweat, so weak I could barely move. I was able to make it to my cell phone and I called my girlfriend (at this point I was borderline unconcious). I told her to call an ambulance. I stayed with her on the phone, but I had to lay on the floor because while sitting up I could barely breath and was ready to pass out.

I truly thought I was about to have a heart attack or something. After about 10 minutes I still felt horrible, however, I was able to sit up without passing out. The ambulance showed up and brought me to the hospital.

They ran a bunch of tests and everything was fine. I informed the doctor of the prami I took and he told me that my episode was a result of this medication.....He also told me that prami is a dopamine antagonist. Also, when take'n without Dr supervision one it could stop his or her heart.

Anyways...I'm home now and everything seems to be fine, however I'm still a little weak and tired......

I just wanted to make sure you guys are aware of what you're taking and the possible side effects.

This is why I stick to cabasar tabs. No sides. Prami is too new for me to try yet and the sides are scary. Plus there isnt an explanation of why those sides occur, or is there?

I was on it for about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks before upping the dose

this is the same feeling i had and tried to sit it out but was a zombie for hours and couldnt really function. Macro tried telling me it was hypolglycemia but jesus thats the only time i would have actually wished it was a hypo.

the feeling that you get when it happens is fucking awful

Nope it wasn't hypo.....it's the begining of how I felt....first I was like a zombie then I felt like I was going to die.

This shit can literally kill you....it's a dopamine antagonist and the right dose can physically stop your heart from beating. (The Doctor in the hospital informed me that this medication can stop your heart...I'm not making this shit up)

did your doc say some people are more prone to it than others cos its strange that not a lot of other people get the effects like that. god knows now from my couple of bad experiences i wont up the dosage, i'm sticking to the .5ml

So the doctor is saying that a perscription will actually make the drug safer or somehow changes the way it will effects the person for which it is prescribed? I have heard statements like this before, but never understood it.

I really didn't get into having a conversation with him in regards to whether some are more prone then others. All I was concerned with was myself at the moment it was happening.

No, that is obviously not what they mean when they say it. They mean that under doctor supervision you would be monitored and your feedback would be used to determine if the dosage was increased or decreased. Modification to the dopamine pathway needs to be done with care. Too much dopamine flooding through your brain and you can display schizophrenic like symptoms (auditory and visual hallucinations, tremors, sedation, spasms, etc).

I honestly think most of the board members here need a wake up call with their attitude to prami. Its a powerful drug and can cause serious serious side effects. Plus it makes you feel like shit. I would only use it at as low a dose as possible to deal with prolactin sides from tren or deca.

Well whatever the case may be.....My hospital visit was brought on from Prami sides and I was only on 1mg.....which I worked my way up to over 2 weeks.

It felt like I was dieing...and I thought I was about to......This may not happen to every person that takes Prami, but I'm sure that there are going to be others then just myself that have this happen to them.

I just want you guys to know.....Some of you may be very sensitive to this medication and not be aware of it until you find yourself in the hospital.

D2 and D3 are subtypes of the dopamine receptor. They play different functional roles in the brain (as a result of the proximal and distal connections they excite).

but you're right, its a dopamine agonist (specifically at subtype D2 and D3 like I said).

btw, another drug you need to be VERY CAREFUL with is L-Dopa. This is the immediate precursor to dopamine in the brain and skips the 'rate-limiting step' in the biosynthetic pathway of dopamine (meaning that there is no control on limiting the conversion if too much is dosed). Overdosing on this drug WILL result in schizophrenic symptoms. I've heard it casually tossed around here a little too casually (for my liking at least!) so thought it was worth mentioning also.

A safer way to increase dopamine would be supplementing with L-Tyrosine (which is before the rate limiting step and your body would kick in if it was 'overdosed').

No offense to the sponsors but damn, be careful. Wouldn't it just be safer and easier to stop using deca and or tren instead of dealing with a chemical that has already put a handful of members in the hospital or clinic??

One or two of these horror stories would be enough for me to discard this altogether.

i was just thinking about that. as more and more chemicals are coming to light i think there is an incredibly high amount of risk that a lot of people are taking. regardless of if sponsors sell it people will still chase it if they want it. we kind of need a sticky up of the dangers or perhaps sides that people have experienced with some of the newer gen stuff thats available that people havent got a lot of experience with

a little more information, D2 antagonists are used to treat people with psychosis. They can bring about sedation and a stupor if the dose is right (if the need to put somebody into a 'walking coma' arises, ie violent psychotics). So just remember when you're playing around with prami that you are playing around with the functional opposite of what they would give a schizophrenic!

Hell yes. When I had my heart attack dopamine was what they gave me to keep my heart beating and raise my blood pressure. Without it I might have died.
I am willing to bet that the med you took lowers blood pressure somewhat too. WOndering if your bp was really low and causing some of those problems. NOTE: after reading more of this post it looks like this drug is an agonist, so then it would probably have raised your BP.

Wouldn't it be safer to use Bromo if one has gyno issues with Tren or Deca ?
