How many weeks out from a contest does everyone drop squatting and heavy pressing? Quads and hams can be tricky...sometimes you need a few weeks for things to settle and for the cuts, vascularity to come fully out..other times you can train heavy all the way up until the show.
If you drop the squats etc. Do you perform lunges, leg extensions instead? I have tried several approaches in the past and am in interested in hearing various opinions. I have a show coming up on the 10th of November.
