How do you guys do it? I seriously am looking for some ideas here. Eating is getting in the way of my job and other daily duties. I am eating every few hours. And I'm not force feeding myself either. I am hungry. Seems like as soon as I get done eating I am getting ready to eat again. I never knew that preparing food could take so much time.

It doesn't work out for everyone, but I cook food in bulk and divide it into individual serving containers. I spend one or two afternoons cooking for the whole week and have meals prepared at all times, ready to be thrown in the microwave.

well......first what are you tring to accomplish?????

are you bulking???
comp dieting???
maintaining???
eat clean for fear of getting fat while bulking???
eat clean to stay healthy???

i'm currently in an offseason bulk and prepare zero meals
only dinner when i get home from work, training ect....

The way i do my steaks and chicken breasts i can bake my whole weeks needs on sunday afternoon. Then just put it in the fridge and use throughout the week as needed. The same goes for rice, potatoes ], veggies....ECT. I just cook one day a week...sunday

It gets easier with time...

Sundays I usually boil 12 chicken breasts in a LARGE pot.

While doing this I have 4 cups of rice in the rice cooker.

In another pan im making ground beef for the week, this can run anywhere

from an hour to an hour and a half, but will last me for 3/4 days.

After its all done cooking I weigh everything, put in tupperware containers

and im good to go. I'll let the remainer cool off then package the weighed

portions in the freezer.

The only thing I prefer to cook fresh is fish. :)

no prep meals

1...6oz bag tuna, 1 pint rice, peanut butter

i buy rice for the week at the chinese place
usally 10 pints..... dollar a pint

2...2 broiled chick breasts, 1 pint rice, 1 pint mixed steamed veg

i broil 12 breasts on sunday
they also have veggies:) 2 dollars a pint

3...4 double stacks from wendys:D

4...half a baked chicken, with rice and black beans

spainish deli that delivers where i work, 6 bucks
they also have carne beef

5...6 hard boil eggs, whole wheat bagel with nat peanut butter

i also boil 2 doz eggs on sunday

need more?????

HAHAHAH Thats a sweet easy diet bro!!

I am trying to build muscle. Not comp dieting. eating clean and trying not to get fat while building muscle.

I don't like eating meat longer than a day or two old. It is difficult but if you can handle eating "old" food, cook everything at once and put it in tupperware as someone else mentioned. I cook a lot and yes cooking and eating can get in the way of life sometimes, but what do you really want more?

If you have to, and I hate saying this because I think whole food is the best route to go, eat weight gainers in between meals, for example...

whole food
weight gainer
whole food
weight gainer
whole food
casein

Looks like you're looking for easy ways to get food cooked. Here's what I do:

(1) Crock pot cooking -- nice and easy -- throw the steak, roast, or chicken in with carrots, rice, potatoes, whatever, and come back hours later. :)

(2) Sam's club precooked frozen chicken breast fillets -- these are delicious and take like 3 minutes in the micro to cook.

I have been bbing over 20 years.I dont prepare anything anymore. I just take milk protein concetrate shakes and throw in a few meals here and there. makes life much easier.
