Prostate Supps?

For any of us older bodybuilders, are there any good supplements out there that promote a healthy Prostate? I just turned 50 and want to know what is a good supplement to help good prostate health while taking any gear. Any advice would be appreciated

If you have prostate issues or are concerned with developing them, and still choose to use AAS, keep your Estrogen and DHT in check, elevated levels of either/both can lead to prostate enlargement. For Estrogen you have Aromasin, Arimidex, and Letrozole. DHT can be lowered with Proscar or Avodart. At our age especially, it is advised to step up Testosterone dosages slowly, monitoring sides and getting frequent bloodwork. Search for Life Extension Foundation's recommended hormone levels for HRT, that's a good baseline reference. Take your starting weekly dose for at least 4 weeks, recommend splitting dose and injecting at least twice a week for steadier levels and thus less sides. Take bloodtest, compare to LEF recommended levels, and adjust ancillaries accordingly. All the best.

I will get blood work done tomorrow and have my levels checked, the good news is my doctor knows my AAS history so it will be easy to get the info and any necessary meds to assist in the prevention of an enlarged prostate. Thanks again W8Train!
