I've heard that you shouldn't do ECA and clen together because it takes up the same receptors making one of them useless. Is there any truth to this?

Well I'm not smart and I don't know about the receptors, but the reason I wouldn't do both at the same time would be that I think it may be kind of hard on the body.

Being just another dumbass BBer, yes it is a bit hard on the system. Can cause cns disturbances like shakes and nausea, general restlessness, loss of apetite and insomnia. Cycle them on and off for better results. Some use clen in the mornings and eca before training. ME personally would cycle clen and eca four days for one four for the other and then a few days off and repeat. But that's me.

ECA will give you some boost for your workout (take it before it...) and moderate fatloss with HIGH load in your heart and BP.

Clen will don't give you the boost but better fatloss with less load for your heart and BP.

Not at good idea to combine both...you can alternate them.

P.S.:I'm not too smart.:p
 
I've heard it all...Run both at the same time...Don't run both...run them by switching them every 2 weeks...Using Zedatin and or Benedryl...I've had success with running them separate, switching every couple of weeks...eca will not cause such a pronounced down regulation and desensitization of the receptors, at least not like clen does. Ephedrine has a short half life compared to clen. With ephedrine, there are times throughout the day where the betas will partially recover from stimulation by adrenaline and nor-adrenaline.
 
They do act on and down-regulate the same receptors. These receptors happen to be up-regulated by T-3. I can't imagine anyone would need to use ECA and clen at the same time. T-3 and either clen or ECA should be best combo.
 
They both affect the same "class" of receptors but not necessarily the same individual receptors. I'm not going into the physiology of this matter as it would take forever but i can say that Clen does seem to cause significant receptor down regulation much quicker than Eph. Cycling the two using a 2 day split is usually optimal. Two days on clen, two days on ECA and so on. A small dose of T3 in the 'am' during the Clen days will add a nice amount of synergy but see how your body responds without it first. If you wanna jack up the pace, then throw some T3 into the mix.
