so ive got this rash on the center of my back, that has been there at least the past couple years to some degree or another. ive been on hrt for about 3 years now and the friggen thing flares up from time to time. sometime spreading to my chest and up my neck a little bit. really dont think its caused by the hormone itself but by the alcohol or maybe its totally unrelated, but question is have, has anyone had this kind of issue

I have similar. Mine is called "Grover's Disease"(Transient acantholytic dermatosis.) It primarily effects White males over forty. Do a search and see if its close to what you have. No real cure for it. Heat, sweat and even cold can cause it to flare.

What does the rash look like? Do you spend alot of time in the sun.. I get during the summer what looks like a rash but its actually called tinea versacolor... its a blotching pattern almost, I get rid of it with a cream called nizoral.

I have almost the same thing, but only every once in awhile. I have tried to find out what it was by googleing rashes on the net. Now that I have a name for it, I am pretty sure thats what it is. The white male over 40 thing def. fits.
