sorry. i include squatting/deadlifting as an oly lift. there are mixed opinions on deads in these shoes. i do it but guys claim that the elevated heel make the dl harder as it raises you up making the range of motion more than if you were wearing a flat shoe.
I have heard and agree with this. However the added stability might be worth it. Plus you can always take them off when trying to show off or at a meet.
I think I have bad conventional dead anthropometry so I might do much better going bare foot or flat since my arms aren't long. And I either have midget femurs or a long torso or something.
Claymore, what's that belt that Stan is wearing in his record breakers with the strap? What's the difference? I ask because I feel like my traditional belt makes my dead worse.
i love my minimus shoes. they are a great all around shoe. i can run, jump, lift etc in them.
i have a pair of innov8's but they slide off my heal when doing prowlers. i rarely ever wear them.
Or deadlifting or deceased raising, I even like the way these kind of footwear experience on regular and OHP. I say value the money. Genuinely if I didn't have my footwear on go day I would just go house.
