I have noticed that if I take in more salt during a cheat mail, I retain about 3kg's more of which most should be water. When this happens, I am able to do a the same amount of reps with ease. Almost like dbol bloat and more power just much less in comparison. Does this theory hold any water? :)
 
Yes, your cell's are more volumized and your body is more hydrated. You're creating a more anabolic environment as well.
 
I add , as MassiveG suggested , sea salt to my pre-post shake.

Only avoid salt if you have high blood pressure, otherwise salt is your friend:).
 
People will say to avoid salt because they are speaking generally. And generally speaking most people eat boxed, canned, and bagged food at home, and fast food when out. All of these foods tend to be loaded with salt.

Even a simple can of soup can be an entire day's worth of salt.

But eating a more bodybuilding friendly diet, salt can be your friend. I prefer sea salt or kosher salt.
 
ever since i started sodium loading pre n post wkt ive been cramping much less so yes salt is your friend
 
Sea salt is a foundation of minerals.

You need salt in your diet.Drink water to balance it and you be good to go.

I do have high blood pressure but am on medication for that. Will just monitor it then to see the impact.
