I'm from the east coast and due to certain situation might have to move out that way. Any info anyone could give me on the area would be cool. I'm looking more at like prices of things like living space. But any info would be cool. Thanks guys.

As far as I know it's expensive..I live 40 miles south of San Diego in Baja..The rent here is dirt cheap..Somewhere from $75-150 a month and gas is only $2.57 a gal.

I know where I come from we are in MORE of a slump than the rest of the country. Is Baja part of the US? Or is it in mexico? Seems like a gray area.

Anyways, Look on www.craigslist.org and look for places to rent in SD on there.
Rent isn't cheap out here. Job market kind of sucks here also. I hope you already have a job when you get here. What kind of work are you looking for?

SD county is HUGE. The area you'd like to live will dertermin the price.

I was pretty much born and raised there. All depends on area. You can get a shithole in an area like National City which is a terrible part of town for maybe $500 but nicer places like mission valley or SDSU area your probably looking around $700 minimum. Its very pricy. Unforunately SD isnt what it was 5-10yrs ago. Its population is disgusting now and the people, well, lets say a lot of trash has moved to the area. To me, its about 5yeas away from turning into L.A.

Good luck my apt. was $1100, no ac and one bedroom. I lived in Bonita.

I was born and raised in Bonita! Bonita Downs. Used to train at that Bally's. Used to be the only gym around. Mario Lopez used to train there.

Totally agree, every damn time I turn on the TV I hear about fifteen
different reasons for the gas hike. Just all of a sudden it happened
during GW's term.Very suspicious. Getting expensive and over crowded
here On east coast too. If you want to live in a nice area expect to
pay around $1,500.
