Scar tissue And Muscle Gains

Having Scar tissue in a specific body part can stop that muscle from growing or it doesn't matter?

I been doing deep tissue massage and ultrasound therapy in my arms,the only think i notice positive is more flexibility,but a lot of pain..Some Doctor tell me that is imposible to destroy the scar tissue once is there in the muscle,only with surgery you can back to normal...i never hear that,is this true ??

scar tissue can def. be removed if u have a competent ART practitioner

It can impair muscle performace because the muscle is not healthy and doesn't contract properly. I have a pulled hamstring that has been pulled 6 times because of a nasty football injury and to this day my right hamstring is not as big or strong as my left

I just had my first ART session.
I am super excited, because my doc also does the grafton technique, so he will be doing a combo of the two techniques on me.
I have carpal tunnel, and I am trying to avoid surgery.
