Started Semaglutide 3 weeks ago - first dose 0.25mg x1 week - killed my appetite so 3rd week dropped to 0.165mg (currently on now)

However my stomach is constantly full and the gastric emptying is making me feel very bloated and to the point hard to even breathe (kind of like when ur at peak bulk calories)

My diet consists of very very high fibre - could this + the gastric emptying effect be causing me to be significantly overbloated?

Yeah, could be related and those sides are not uncommon with anti-glycemic meds like metformin.


You drink coffee or take any mag citrate?

I personally know 2 gals who used Sema and suffered severe Gastroparesis that continued after stopping.

They now suffer 24/7 with stomach emptying in the 10 to 12 hr range.
Uggggg!

Maybe it's a sign Sema is not for you.
Gastroparesis is a side effect of Sema.

Was about to jump back on Sema after taking a little break from it, but will prob wait til after the holidays so I can enjoy myself this winter season.

The whole possible Pancreatitis side effect does kinda scare me some.
