I heard of some kind of cream or something you can rub on a tattoo to remove it,and before you ask no there are now chicks names i just wanted know if anyone heard of this

Not quite sure if it works, but my doctor assured me it doesn't.

I'm nearing the end of having mine removed (3). It has been a long and painful process involving a laser. So far, I have had 9 treatments that were done at 6-8 week intervals, and probably have about 2 treatments left.

Mine were just black and gray. Color tats generally take a few more treatments as the colors don't absorb the light from the laser as well.

Why?

Guys... what did you have to get removed?

Was it a Aryan Brotherhood prison thing?
Maybe woke up in the park in downtown Prague with a swastika on your stomach?
Or is it a declaration of undying love... for a woman you now hate?

My tattoo hurt so damn bad (18 hours)to get I can't imagine cooking it off with a laser.....
So what is everybody removing and why? grown into a new life, new church, wife, etc.

Are tattoos becoming out of fashion?

sometimes for jobs, people getting tatts on highly visible places at a young age and then later in life want to enter the professional world. It's usually looked very down upon and sometimes you won't even be hired at at because of them. I had a friend that couldn't get a job with me at my hospital because he had tattoos visible on his forearms.

an IFBB pro once told me that tattoo's will make that particular bodypart appear to be smaller.

I wonder if Lee Priest is reading this.

i just read an article in the wsj the other day about a tattoo ink in the works that is "permanent" but can easily be removed by just a single laser treatment. I think it said its supposed to be out early next year. sounds interesting

1) Skin cream to remove tats is snake oil. The ink is too deep. Only laser will work and that depends on the tat and skin type as to how well it works.

2) Tattoos will definitely camouflage your cuts if you compete.

3) Don't worry, no tats are truly permanent. Your body will eventually reabsorb the ink, you just won't live long enough to see that happen to completion :p

yeah its crap...i have always thought the scars your left with after laser removal are far worse than any tattoo unless it was racial or something stupid like that. Why not just have it covered by a real professional. I had to have 4 crap tattoos covered now have very nice half sleeves and chest plates...of course i love tattoos alot of people don't. A great place to find excellent caliber artists is inkednation.com, basically myspace for tattooed people, do an artist search for your area.

Sorry gentlemen tattoos cannot ever be removed by a cream, the ink is applied thru the epidermis (about 25 layers of skin cells) to lay in the dermis. Unfortunatly even the new " C6 Medlite Q Switched Laser " will destroy the melatonin in your skin leaving a imprint(a white void image) of the original tattoo. I will recommend my clients to have laser treatments to lighten the image so I can do a cover-up at times. And there will be no ink produced ever in the future to allow removal with one pass of a laser, it is because of what ink is made from. Ink is not FDA approved , some us of still make our own ink and the commercial companys make it the same way and the base ingredient will never change.
