I've been lurking on here for years. I'm a former athlete and in my hayday (18-25 yo) I was in phenomenal condition. 6'1" 235, 8-9% bf ... Strength and speed a plenty. I had moderate experience with gear during this time. Usually one 8-10 week cycle every offseason.
I'm now 38 and 6'1". I hadn't worked out seriously in over a decade. On Jan 2nd I was 315 lbs. By using only the info on this board .... no doctor, no trainer, no nutritionist, no guru ... I'm down to 240. I spent 60 days doing nothing but perfect diet and cardio and the last 5-6 weeks hitting the iron as hard as I can ... still with spot on diet. I can't believe how quickly the strength and physique is coming back.
I have spent countless hours reading and researching.
