I can't remember the last time i went to bed and slept soundly throughout the entire night.. Well maybe a year ago when i got my wisdom teeth pulled and was loaded up on pain killers..
As i have gotten bigger/older i have developed more and more frequent issues when sleeping..
Circulation seems to be a big issue.. I cannot sleep on my back so i sleep on my side.. I get pins and needles in my shoulders whenever i am lifting heavy.. So i wake up with a dead arm.. Revive it and flip over and sleep on my other side.. Until that side falls asleep.. I try to sleep on my stomach, but the position of my arms make my shoulders hurt after awhile..
Recently i have been having issues with my outer quads.. After a heavy leg day, when i retire for bed, I have been getting creepy crawly/ tickle sensations deep in the muscle tissue in my outer quads.. The sensation gets so heightened, that i have to wake up and start walking around and flexing my legs to get rid of the annoyance..
Those are the top two reasons.. But i tend to get up to pee or wake up cause my stomach is growling and im hungry..
As i get bigger, my symtoms tend to get worse.. Now that im in the mid 240's and im sure i will get to the 250's.. I wonder what is in store for me? My doctors advice was to stop lifting so heavy and he gave me mild muscle relaxers.. But im obviously not going to stop lifting heavy and the muscle relaxers aren't doing shit..
Im just curious if other guys out there have the same issues... Especially since there are alot bigger guys than me.. I can say that my body isn't supposed to be in the 240 - 250 range.. I got my Mom's genetics and i don't have a big frame.. I remember reading, I believe in Cycles for Pennies, that your body's frame will adjust to your heavier weight over time.. But how much can it really adjust???
Are there any therapudic technique's that can help my circulation?? Like deep tissue massage..
