Hello everyone...I am 5 wks out from the NPFC Australian's, this is a big contest here especially since Ronnie is guest posing. I am about 230 lbs and I reckon I need to come down to 220 at 5'10. I know that 220 is light for most of you but I think I have a very small frame, my wrists are 6 3/4 inches around....yep smaller than many women hahah...and dont ask me how I even support dumbells when I have to curl or bench. :D

I am also desperately trying to improve my legs and glutes..they like to hold fat. I have been getting tips from one board member so if you have more ideas they are welcome.

I will keep you all updated weekly with pics. Thank you for your help and comments.

This is the best condition by far I've seen you in 5 weeks out! You'll come in looking good.

I think a lot of your problems, especially the legs from the rear has to do with posing.
I might make some time to see you and help you out with that if you want.
 
The only posing that will help me will be done on the high stepmill , cardio crosstrainer, treadmill and running sprints up that damn hill on the Maribyrnong River (I will flex my quads when I get to the top)....LOL :D

Bro, you are looking particularly good!

Rear lat spread is particularly impressive, your back is real thick.

Hands are being held too high though on the Front double bi,
look like your guiding an airplane into a gate. Lower them a bit,
make sure turned out and should look a lot better.

Ok here I am...I earned third place in the Victoria State Championships. I weighed in at 225 and competed at about 230. I was a bit disappointed with this result in that I lost by one point to someone who was my height but 8 kg or 20 lbs lighter. They announced on stage that the person beat me by one point on muscularity. I thought our conditioning was similar and given that I had 8 kg more muscle it was hard to imagine that I was beaten on muscularity because the other athlete was definitely not in that much better condition to overcome a 8kg difference in mass.

So enough of dwelling on the disappointment. I think in these cases I have to remember that it is a subjective sport/hobby, its just for fun and the judges are volunteers who take their time to sit there all day looking at us. Furthermore I should be focusing on strategies for Nationals next weekend.

The Victoria State Titles were AWESOME:

There were about 60 competitors and every class had quality physiques.
Ronnie was guest poser at our state championships and I had the chance to talk to him backstage before doing my posing routine to Micheal Jackson's "Scream". Ronnie did a posing routine where he wore a crown and king's robe. The audience went crazy when the lights went down and Ronnie came onstage. Also this state championship was awesome in that they gave away a flat screen TV and cappucino maker and many other gifts to the various weight class winners! All the class winners get free hotel and flights to Sydney for the Nationals.

(Uh as Mr Third Place....I have to pay my own way...LOL...but having said that...I usually do better at Nationals than I do at the State Championships...SO LOOK OUT I am coming to do some damage ! :D )

Nationals are next weekend in Sydney...Ronnie is guest posing there too. I feel great...and I have 7 days to get MORE ripped....on to the treadmill and stepper. Wish me luck ;)

NPC Australian Nationals 2005. I think I placed 4th out of 12 competitors. This was a very good line up. I made the first call outs for muscularity and symmetry so that was great and the audience really liked my posing routein and fluro pink posing trunks. :D I am glad its over though because I am exhausted.

Here is another...rear double bicep. I think I have to improve my legs because I am tall and have smaller bones so they look skinny near the knee and the calf.
