First, the story:
I’m 34, 5’11, 190 pounds, been training since I was 19, only took time off when work demanded it or I was injured, but I’ve been training hardcore for the last 15 years. I have been all natural so far. I first had my T levels taken about 2 ½ years ago and they were low, 278 out of a range of 240-1100. I retested 2 times after that and the results were similar. This definitely seemed to answer the question of why I have such a hard time gaining muscle. I didn’t do anything because the wife and I were trying to have kids and I didn’t want to mess with my sperm count, which was a little low already. Now I’m ready to start feeling better, I’ve read all of the symptoms of low T and I have most of them. I think I need to be on TRT but my doc doesn’t seem to have a clue and I don’t think he wants to put me on it anyway. Besides, I’ve been wanting to do my first cycle for quite a while now. I may eventually go on doctor supported TRT, but right now I’m taking matters into my own hands.
The Plan:
I’m gonna run 500 mg test E a week for about 12 weeks with Dbol at 40 mg for the first 4 weeks. After that I plan on tapering down to 100 mg of test a week, which is a standard TRT dosage.
My question:
Once I’m normalized at 100 mg a week, should I taper down to nothing and start pct, go to the doc after a few weeks and have my levels tested and have him put me on TRT (if he’s willing) or should I stay on the 100 mg test a week (say F**k the doc) for a few months and then think about a new cycle? Any questions, responses, or insults are welcome.
