To Be Big You Have to Eat Big?

Does anyone find this to be the case with most guys? In one case, some guys say they have too slow of a metabolism, eating 2500 calories to maintain despite carrying 230+lbs of mass. And then there’s the opposite, where guys with same amount of mass have to eat 5000 calories to maintain. What’s your take on this? Thank you all and have a great day!

There will always be an outlier, but for 99.9% - yes you have to eat big to get big

Please use the search function Bailey.

This is day one shit, and also common sense.

But to digress, I've been "big" for so long that if I want to maintain, my body doesn't want to dip under 235ish even if I'm doing 2 meals a day for extended periods. I'd have to really fast and stop lifting completely to get below that. If you've only been a certain weight for a short period of time, or you're pushing to a new weight, yes you need to eat big. Elementary shit. But the body does reach homeostasis after being above a certain size for years on end

Edit: shit... I fed the troll. My bad

Whatever, my coach warned me about you and Luki anyways.
Was that before or after he told you that if you don’t stop second guessing him and asking stupid questions on here that he was going to charge you additional fees, interest and restitution. 🤣

It was after that. Apparently there was some kind of drama which ensued between you guys. He then warned me of who to watch out for as far as advice goes.

I don't know if I'm feeding a troll or not, but looking back I think that's what actually held me back some what, you can't make something out of nothing, so yeah food is the most important thing in bb, proper lifting is 2nd, unless your name is Kevin Lebrone

Thank you, sir. I’m not a troll, I was given the green light to ask this question which I am actually curious an about as it wouldn’t undermine my coach’s knowledge.

Most guys who are big (usually fat) on low calories are not counting calories correctly and actually eating way more than they think.

Most guys who are small on high calories are also not counting calories correctly and actually eating much less than they think they are or just flat out lying about their actual intake or not even actually counting calories just guessing

There is always exceptions to the rule but 9 times out of 10 this is the case

A lot of strange things have been happening here lately lol
