I by no means am I a "top" MMA Pro. I am a Pro, who's had a little success and I just ordered some LBA's from Phil. I know Phils the man and you guys have said so many great things about the LBA's it was time I tried them out.

I walk around at 185 or so and fight at 170. I had a diet done up for me a few years ago by Troponin Nutrition and its what I mostly use to drop weight for fights - carb cycling. As long as I eat clean and work my ass off in the gym the weight comes off and I retain most of my muscle. MMA was in its infancy a few years back and alot of dieting and training was very outdated. Now a days training has moved forward greatly and more and more guys are using unconventional strength training, ie: medicine balls, resistance bands, plyo's, etc.....but I still think dieting and supps haven't caught up yet. Bodybuilders, with out a doubt are MUCH more advanced when it comes to diets and especially supps. So I read what guys talk about to give me an extra edge in training and...well, hell...I like to look good too

I start using the LBA's next week and look forward to it. Thanks for the post Phil, but really I'm nothing different that the majority of the guys on the board that compete in local and state shows. We love our sport and the rush of competeing, and it would be cool to do it on the big stage one day - but really its all about being a man and just competing.

Man the first thing I noticed about your intial post was your HUMILITY.

I love that quality in people. I respect it.

You look great and lets be honest, you are a badass if you are fighting in the ocatagon.

My girlfriend and I are huge fans of the sport. We get together with friends, make huge-assed meals and watch all the fights. My friends get drunk, I don't drink, but really enjoy those get togethers. WAY better than the superbowl for me.

Keep at it and stay healthy.
