Traps with Shoulders or Back

All right fellows are you working traps with shoulders or back? I have always worked with shoulders but was thinking about training them with back for awhile.
 
Well, seeing as I do both shoulders, back and trapz in the same workout.... I guess both. :cool:
But, I do back early in the workout and shoulders and trapz late.

i usually alternate them depends how im feeling, either way ur good to go.

My back and shoulder days are three days apart, and I train traps with both...mine need some work and 2X per week has helped a lot lately.
 
Deads and rack deads only, hits traps pretty hard and dont have to do shrugs.

i also hit traps twice weekly
 
My split puts chest+shoulders+triceps on one day and upper back+biceps on another day. It's more even volume-wise if I put traps with upper back.
 
you dont want to over work them so just do them 2 times a wk the most, i do mind on back day and on bi/shoulder day
 
thanks for the responses fellows,i feel ya on the deads but due to an injury that i had ( not lifting related ) i can no longer do deads so i shrug em,think i might give 2 x week a try.
 
I train them with both back & shoulders. I just try to do different excircises for traps each time....
 
i find that if you hit your shoulders hard enough, when you come to do your traps, you usually cant put enough into it and often dont feel the same 'dull ache' up there. however if you're doing a back day, and then doing shrugs for instance, it often feels a lot better to do them then. plus i find the stretch i feel on my biceps when doing them at the end, feels quite good.
 
i train them with back it seems more natural to me. plus i have the straps on for when i go heavy on deads and other back exercises so i just keep them on and do shrugs.
