I was up late packing my gear, messing around dreading the fact that I was going to be around lean, in-shape people considering the fact that I am not! lol.

Here is the some back-fat for you!

I was 270 lbs on thursday night and didnt' eat much the next day. Just drinks. I manage to look about 230lbs in clothing. It pisses me off. Everyone looked bigger than I did at the show.

I met had a great time bullshitting with Steak Helmet, he was bigger. Hell, the figure girls were bigger.

Oh, Steak is funny as hell.

The trip out was supposed to be relaxing and fun.

I got up at 5am, packed the car and was going to meet my buddy Wayne in Great Falls, take off to lift with Meredith at Golds in Missoula, then take a leisurely trip to Spokane to watch some of our friends compete. Well, 16 teachers were gone on Friday, so I couldn't leave for the day with a clear conscience.

I worked until 3:15 and then had to make a hurried trip to Missoula to meet Wayne, Josh [his son] and Meredith. They got to lift!

I did manage to take these pics on the way because I drink a lot of water and have to make frequent stops. lol. So that's an hour and a half to greatfalls...then another 2.5 hours to missoula. I got there at 8pm...then drove for three more hours. I wasn't too happy with the way my day went.

No power lines! lol. I do really well when I can take my time, but that didn't happen.

However, in spite of my crappy mental state due I was good to Meredith and my friend Wayne and his son. I try not to inflict myself on others when I am not at my best.

I did manage to get up early and train on Saturday, so the next day I was off to a great start.

Our new friend let us all stay at his cool house. This is at their guest house in the morning.

I've known Wayne since 1996 and he's always been there for me when I needed anything. He and Meredith both look pretty good in this picture.

These bastards all got to lift ..so I am all jazzed up and ready for legs.

In this pic the car is loaded up to go to prejudging. The dropped me off so I could catch do a workout and maybe miss some of the figure. I wanted to see the guys do their thing on stage!


Wayne's kid is a freak. He's intense and won about 50 wrestling matches in a row earlier in tournaments all over the country. He hurt his knee and just had surgery yesterday.

He wants to try bodybuilding. He's so fired up he about has his dad and I convinced to do one with him.

He's the one with the evil grin in the car load of freaks.

This was a figure girl at the Empire.

I thought she had a lot of muscle. She could do about anything in my opinion. Bodybuilding, figure, whatever.

I thought this girl looked the best of all the figure competitors that day.

I don't know who she was, but I liked her look.

She's the one in Green.

I think the girl on the far right won the overall. I actually liked the one in the green suit the best. The other girl looked great too, though.

Here is a picture of our friend who got 2nd in the Middles.

The guy who got first in the middles won the overall. Mike looked fantastic!

He and his wife are Christians, humble and just really nice people. I am glad we got to meet them.

It's cold outside, so Mike was being pretty cool flexing outside.

I didn't feel like we got any pictures that really did him justice on stage. He has no pump here. Check out the wide shoulders and tiny waist...terrific physique.

The girl in the green was CONNIE something...she did look good. The one in the red I agree could do just about anything...she did win the overall. I am glad they picked someone with muscle. No more junk in the trunk or cottage cheese in a hefty bag asses.

I thought MIKE would have won his class and the overall, but the guy that beat him looked more like a LH than a MIDDLE weight. When or 'IF" he crosses over to the darkside, he will win that overall.

That show is growing every year.

JT and LYNX are great people...if you all have a chance to meet and talk with them, you would not meet anyone more down to earth and just enjoys sitting around shooting the shit. OH yeah and JT can eat you under the table.

These are the middle weights on stage.

Our buddy got 2nd and the dark haird guy who won that class won the overall. Brad Hollibaugh was helping him out.

The guy was hard. We talked with Brad a few times. I will say one thing...that guy is consistently positive and always nice. He also brought this guy in wicked condition. The pics might not show it but he was in excellent shape.

Our friend Mike looked terrific as well. I'd love to have his physique. He looks waaaaay better than I ever will.

Overall guys on stage.

I thought if the heavy could have come in a leaner he would have been tough to beat. That's just my opinion.

that dude in the green was a cocky ass gasket.

the heavy was one of DAVE P's clients. He went from 300lbs to 229 at weigh ins. DAVE P's diet is good for those who need to lose a lot of weight...but I would say about week 6, go back to what works best for you.
