Do you think it is truly necessary to consume supplements- I was thinking of starting to buy creatine/glutamine and possibly bcaa's- I have a budget from working a part time job but it is limited from college but most to all of my money pretty much goes into my hobby which is bbing and I want to really kick it up a notch this offseason which is going to be a while- i designed a clean diet- have all my pre and post workout meals staying lean gaining nicely, using a nice high androgen in the offseason now I am considering using some extra supps like creatine glutamine and bcaas- is it necessary or should i just save the cash and spend it on higher quality food- please I want the truthful opinion b/c it can save a lot of cash in the long run for me...thanks guys-

I have searched and read many posts but I have no clear cut answer so thats why I am asking...and I consume protein shakes 3x a day with oats between my meals as meals so i already use a high quality whey protein...please advise
 
Even when I owned a supp store I was honest about my opionion. I feel that you need extra protien. I feel that you need vitamins/minerals. I feel that you need healty fats. If you can afford creatine throw it in but if it comes down to creatine or food /protien thats a no brainer. Just my opinion.

If you can afford adrogens you can afford supplements. Just up the protien with protin powder if your using and adrogen. Your not going to see the effects of creatine on adrogens.

Thats the only stuff I belive is really worth while accept if your trying to loose fat MOST of the fat burners work to a dregree.
 
great replies- like I said I can afford it but do have a limited budget and if I truly dont need it it wont be added- I think with my offseason cycles (which is usually test, but low doses 500-1g i think I can truly gain w/o the supps from your replies- just wanted to know to see if it was that necessary and by your input I am gonna kick up the protein or switch some things around in my diet to have a better quality diet( ie. more egg whites and fresh chicken breast than protein powder and canned chicken breast etc. ) thanks :)
