UFC Middleweight Championship Title
- Rich Franklin defeated Nate Quarry by KO at 2:34 in round 1.

- Gabriel Gonzaga defeated Kevin Jordan by KO at 4:39 in round 3.
- Matt Hughes defeated Joe Riggs by submission (kimura) at 3:28 in round 1.
- George St. Pierre defeated Sean Sherk by TKO at 2:53 in round 2.
- Jeremy Horn defeated Trevor Prangley by uninamous decision.

Preliminary (Non Televised) Fights
- Sam Hoger defeated Jeff Newton by submission (rear naked choke) at 2:05 of round 2.
- Thiago Alves defeated Ansar Chalangov by TKO at 2:25 in round 1.
- Nick Thompson defeated Keith Wisniewski by unanimous decision.

Yea Franklin Knocked Nate Quarry out COLD!

Jeremy Horn fight he was Booed after the decision was announced...I thought he lost also
but the judges I guess say he somehow won.

Well I saw Quarry lose live (as I was in my boy's corner) ringside to Mike Whitehead, yep the same guy who was in TUF 2. He was also my roomate.
Trevor Prangley is also a former teamate of mine and he pretty much taught me how to submission fight, etc etc. Trevor is from South Africa and HELLUVA competitor, Steak knows him also.

|--[\\\]>-------- I trainded with Matt Hughes a few times at Militich's camp years back and let me tell you, this guy is small, but a ROCK and strong as hell...helluva fighter and very smart in the ring. BUT this St.Pierre guy is AWSOME! he lost last time b/c he had messed up for a sec. and exposed his arms for Hughes and got the arm bar! I think next time will be dif. (sorry Hughes) also that heavy wgt fight was the most pethetic thing i've seen, the only good part was when Gonzales knocked him out in the last 20 secs of the match! Even Joe Rogan the commentator was like, "come on guys, this sucks" As for Franklin and Quarry...HOLY CRAP that's a knock out...did you guys see when Nate fell, his body stiffened up and his right leg was stuck up in the air!

My girl, dad, and nephew all watched it!

I was so impressed with Matt Hughes....he just calmly defeated Joe Riggs. I don't even think he broke a sweat.

George St. Pierre was super impressive as well.

Poor Nate Quarry! I felt bad for the guy....He got a severe ass whooping. Broken Nose and knocked piss cold. One of those ugly knock outs where he was all stiff and twitchin' .....just makes me shudder.

The only really shitty fight was those two pathetic heavy weights. Fat lazy Bastards....lazy, lazy, fat, ....No way I'd show up in that kind of condition and be that lackluster. Niether man fought hard and it made me sick. Joe Rogan didn't even bother to interview the winner!
