Yeah, been off the board for a bit to recollect my thoughts and set a new game plan. I did the Eastern USAs and failed horribly the last week and over carbed...should of weighed 220lbs, ended weighing 223lbs...so I held 3lbs of water under my skin, made me look watered out and all my lines look faded and not sharp whatsoever. Lesson learned, good humbling experience.

I contacted INTERNATIONAL UNDERGROUND LABS (They're one of our sponsors below) I meet up with one of the owners and he told me that they wanted to pick me up as a sponsored athlete. I always want to rise up with a company that was on the rise too so you can see why I was elated when they wanted to sponsor me. I was sold immediately because I found out the owner practiced MMA and did bodybuilding. He seemed very knowledgeable about supplements and what he wanted to get out of it. He wasn't some suit hiding behind a desk telling people to make products, he used and experimented with all his products to find the perfect formula to suit his needs in MMA and bodybuilding. I was skeptic when we first talked over a month ago because it was a new company so before we went further he said he wanted me to believe in what the company represent, real working supplements. I got samples that lasted me a month, he told me to contact him after the month was over and tell him what I thought. I was sold on the quality and what the supplements represented after the month. The protein was smooth and left no bad aftertaste like some of the other protein, it also sat in my stomach extremely well. NO2 extreme gave me nice pumps and extra energy to finish my workouts.

STATS

I'm clocking in at 263lbs as I'm typing this. I will hit 270lbs before cutting down for a spring show. no clue what my bodyfat.

Hey bro congrats on your new sponsorship. You will be a great representative for them.

My 2 cents: Make sure you come in to your next show ultra ripped. Ripped to shreads will bump you up more than flat and massive. You have it bro! Hire a diet pro to get you at that point. It will be the best thing you have ever done for yourself. I also agree with b-boy. Your back thickness, rear delt size and upper middle back (Traps) are your only weakness right now.

Keep hammering away and start a journal when you start dieting so we can follow. Respect!! KS

bent-over rows(over and underhand grip): doing 495lbs for overhand grip, wide seated pulls, close seated pulls, v-bar pull ups (side to side), pull-ups, pull-downs, t-bar rows, partial deads...these are the exercises I do on back day. I think it's just gonna take time because I only started hitting my back since oct of 2008.

as you can see from the first pic (first competition) I was diced out, I messed up the last week in the second pic. It wasn't my dieting because as I came in I looked better and better than the first showing, I just messed up the last week of depleting and loading...lesson learned

Ok bro i want to say this and i am by no means putting you, your body or your progress down. I am just saying what i see in hopes it might help you inthe future.

In your comparison pics you definitely look better in your first contest. Yes you are leaner. But i still think you are not shreaded. You still have some water and your muscles are not as defined as they can be. No striated glutes, rear delts are not striated, hams are not totaly defined and your lower back has extra water on it as well.

I just think that you are putting your heart and sole into this sport and you would benefit so much from hiring someone to help you get to 100%.

Please dont take my criticism as hammering on you. You are 10 times better looking than i am and i will never achieve what you have so far. But i think you would be surprised as to what you CAN look like.

It looks like its just water. I'd guess him no more than %10 at the most.

The only reason that I say that is you have a lot more than 3lbs of water seperating your condition from what it was in the second as to what it was in the first. I mean no disrespect as I have done the same thing but unless you realize where you are and where you went wrong you will never "nail it."

Don't stress to much about what weight you will reach in your offseason before you start dieting. Doing that will most likely force you to gain more fat than you need to. I would say your bodyfat levels are perfect for a producive offseason now so why increase it.

Lastly congrats on the sponsorship. You have a great physique and I look forward to following your progress.

%15 is high. there would be hardly any definition, no abbs visible, etc.... Azn get a bodyfat test. I gaurantee your no higher than %10.

I totally agree with you dusty about falling into the numbers game. It's one of those thing where you know your parents are right but you won't learn until you make the mistake yourself. Trust me, it won't happen again.

with all 6 visible abbs i dont think so

it's okay guys, tenny loves to get under people skin lol...I don't know what my body fat is and don't have a place that could do dexa scan (the only real body fat testing that can't be denied)...I would have to say though, I can easily strip about 15lbs of water within a matter of two weeks if I really wanted to...I'm extremely carb sensitive so I can hold an extreme amount of water. My macro for fats in my diet is about 15%. Total calorie intake a day is around 6,400. You guys do the numbers...
