Urgent Help! Anabolic Steroid Induced Hypogonadism

These Doctors aint helping me at all and I paid hundreds to these sorry ass mofos! Ok bros, those of you that might know already a month ago I was diagnosed with azoospermia, and my lh and fsh was low, the uroligist was convinced that I had a pituoral tumour and sent me to an mri scan, after a month of hell the mri scan turned out to be ok. Then he sent me to an endocrine specialist and he sent me to various tests and then said it was due to anabolic steroids and the best treatment is...... well time. Time? You mean I paid all tis money and done all this running around just so they could tell me time.

I already told them about the steroids and they brushed it aside and said it was unlikely and now the truth is, it was the steroids.

What a bunch of jokers, I asked him how about hgc or hmg? He said that the best bet is to leave it and dont take anything and come back and see him in a month.

In the mean time, my test and libido is at an all time low and Im losing muscle faster than a somalian pow! Im trying in vain to stop it, and it gets me more down when people keep reminding me that Im going slim.

Damm these docs, anyway bros, anyone been through this shit Im going through and any advice out there

SO, since your prolcatin levels were high, they thought it could be a pituitary tumor, but it turned out ok?

Maybe try running an hcg+hmg cycle followed by a clomid/nolva cycle. Thats what I planned to do, but I can't find hmg.

Yeah I guess so, but I told them its probably coz of the juice and they didnt want to know. Now they are contemplating on what to do next but they want to give it time before they give anything.

The endocrinologist suspected it might have been the juice but the other doctors were conviced that I had a tumour. He also said that he dont want to give anything as it might cınfuse the pituaral gland which sends the signals to lh and fsh.

So anyway after all this running around and all this hype and all this money spent, all I had to do was sit and wait for a few months, I guess the sperm test had me panicked to early and doctors took advantage.

Now Im thinking of shooting hgc anyway, amd I will see if I can get hmg as well because I cant sit and wait until I totaly shrink and the wife is crying out for a baby deep down.

I had low test due to AAS

and it was not going back up. even after a LONG time off. I went to an anti aging doctor who had me do HCG and it did nothing for me even while on it, which was very scary b/c that left me to believe my testes were ruined. The guy insisted on mixing it for me and I do not doubt his bitch nurses did it wrong. I then went to an endo 3 months later and he told me to WAIT, "do nothing".

Well I went on TRT for a few months and was feeling very shitty and had high blood pressure and came off temporarily. I decided to just try some natural supplements in the mean time, not really expecting them to do anything.

I supplemented with Novedex XT by Gaspari Nutrition and it actually felt like it was working so i decided to get a blood test.

Total Test was 1,520
LH was up to 5

I've been off for 4 weeks now from the Novedex XT I'm actually feeling OK. I'm getting another blood test this saturday to see if my levels stayed up at all.

Give it a try if you need to get your numbers up atleast temporarily.

lets go over the basics.


you have low endogenous test levels.
result: feel like shit & it aint good to go thru life like that

cure: do a PCT cycle: (use hcg (testes back in form) armimdex (fsh), nolvadex(LH)

For how long? depends on your pct philosphy but when you are off get blood work done & go 2 months of nothing then retest. still not in normal range (300-800NG/DL, i like 500 for myself) then repeat with nolvadex& adex only.

I do not like clomid for some studies have shown it can suppress LH

if you have low sperm production then use proviron (there are studies showing it doesn not effect LH) i would tho use it only when you are at the point when you have normal test levels, that way when you add the proviron you can be sure it isnt messing with your hpta(thru bloodwork).

I know your pain & the fustration with the medical community, i have adrenal fatigue & the only way the manistream medical community has helped me are as a resource (blood tests, answering basic physiology ques i may have had). for instance, the current protocol for adrenal fatigue calls for using dhea, a sex steroid that can either go to test or estrogens. When I searched on pubmed on dhea & healthy males not but one study (gh increase) showed any positive results but there was many for its positive effects on woman. I also noticed a high total serum estrogen but a low estradiol while using dhea, there are 3 types of estrogens (estrone, estriol, estrodiol) dhea was kicking up the estriol & making up that high total serum estrogen. high estrogen can suppress the hpta, dhea was doing the opposite of what it was supposed to do!

moral of the story, if i wasnt doing my own homework i would of been doing more harm than good to my body.

I've been through what you are going through and I know exactly how you feel. My doctor pretty much told me that if you are going to mess with your own hormones, you better be able to handle the possible long term sides in the future. The worst thing you can do is take a HCG shot. And yes the MD is correct in the fact that pretty much you have to wait it out. It took me roughly 8 months. Did I lose muscle? Yes. Was I tired and did my sex drive take a dive? Yep that too. But.....it all came back and then some. You want a solution to your problem and allthough I agree with an anti-e, I don't agree with using HCG. The whole thing is such a slow process that you think you are making zero progress. The fact of the matter is, the longer you stay off and do nothing to your body via HRT, HCG, ect, the better off you will be feeling and more likely you will have a chance to fully recover. Now I don't know how long you were on gear, but lesson be learned take breaks and pay attention to your body. If you fry your Leydig cells by constant injects of HCG, forget about ever recovering. When my doc told me NOT to do this I thought he was crazy but then he really broke down how the feedback loop works and showed me exactly why its not a good idea. He was right. No doubt it sucks and your mind messes with you because you think you can fix it. But I'm telling you, give your body a break and let it come back on its own. If you mess with it even more, you will be taking the one step forward/two steps back approach and your recovery will be a long hard process. Up your protein and hammer the grape seed extract, vitamin C, Glutamine, 5-HTP, and protein. The best thing for me was staying active and just taking my mind off everything. I think the whole thing is more mental than anything. Getting smaller sucks, but being fucked up for life sucks even worse. I was under the impression that as long as you take hcg in doses of 500iu or less at a given time, then they will not shut down your leydig cells, they will help them recover faster, even if you've been taking 500iu hcg 2x per week for years???

all my thyroid #'s were in the normal range yet my body temp a.m. was 97.7

because of this and trying to lose a liitle around the middle an not wanting do stims cause of its negative effects on adrenals i added thyroid an WHAMO body comp made a drastic positive improvement off of 10 in am an 10 at night!
