The supreme court has ruled we dont have the right to privacy. We should act accordingly. That includes switching from windows to Linux, using pgp, and using a vpn outside your country that doesnt by law dictate all ip's are logged.

About two days after being a sponsor I had a scammer email my protonmail account and try to pull an old "insurance" deal on me, saying he would report my email address to protonmail unless I paid him money. I ignored him and a week later protonmail unceremoniously and without notice cancelled my account, and wouldn't let me appeal or access my old emails to get in contract with customers etc.

Good lord. It's worse than I thought at protonmail. Plus it's lost mail and downtime are ridiculous.

Very shady company I have been back and forth with over the past couple of days...I would suggest this industry start moving away from them before another cyber-rights/safe-mail issue comes to ahead!

The scammer isn't ever going away so if these email services are still banning accounts in this industry because of him, then they obviously can't be trusted...If they are doing it for "other" reasons, then they obviously can't be trusted. Either way, the bottom line, making this move a week after Gmail launches it's new algorithm mass banning accounts, shows they can't be trusted!
