What AAS would be best for someone with prostate issues

A local guy I know has been busting his ass in the gym for a few years now and has plateaued so he’s looking to try AAS (he’s 38yr old) His issue is that his dad and grandfather both had prostate issues so he’s concerned that it maybe genetic and doesn’t want to do anything to cause him any issues down the line.

So the question is what should someone in his situation be looking for as far as a steroid to help his growth.

Can you elaborate on "his dad and grandfather both had prostate issues" Do you
know what kind of issues? BPH? Cancer? And whatever it is, it is genetic (my
opinion).

I’d find out the exact issues first but my pops has BPH but still prescribed TRT, he feels great and takes supps for his prostate and no issues..

If he’s never taken anything before I can’t imagine that if the discipline is there training and food wise, he won’t get AMAZING results with a simple Test only around 200-300mg and consider TRT afterwards?

I assume he doesn’t have insane bodybuilder and just wants to be lean/muscular and fit? I can’t imagine anything safer than low dose Test and TRT...

Go to the Bill Llewellyn Anabolics book and find the drug with the lowest androgenic component/ratios.
Probably something like Anavar.
