My next major fabrication project is a back machine. It's a no brainer it will be Hammer Strength. I have used the iso row and liked it. At the gym in Toronto yesterday I "played" with the Hammer low row (have been sick so didn't think it wise to go all out). I just wanted a few opinions from guys who have used both regularly in a balls-to-the-wall workout. The iso row is the older style that "the man" himself used in the Blood & Guts. Here are pics of the two I am talking about......

I'd go for the one in the second pic.

I like the movement allot better on the first one, I can grab wider and get a fuller pull.

of those two, i like the 2nd, feels like a controlled DB row

i like the high row most though.... lemme try to find a pic

HS Iso Lateral High Row

it wont let me attach for some reason

Hammer Row

My gym only has the one in the first pic, but it is an awesome piece of equipment.

I know the one you are talking about Mr Pickles. I'm 99.99% sure it falls into the same category as the DY row-too tall. I actually tried it once. A different feel, but still good. Thanks for the replies guys.
