yea that is the real reason I caught it to relocate it. Someone in the hood would have taken tom it with a shovel. it is not a dangerous snake by any means. I have had to deal with snakes in my old gym out west of where we live now. it was an eastern brown. Very dangerous, one of the most venomous snakes in the world. I also caught it and relased it to the wild away from civilisation. He came in for a workout but didn't want to pay, so I threw him out. The nerve of some eh! No need to kill these things if you don't have to. All snakes here in Oz are on the protected species list. AS for my house guest there is no way I could bring myself to killing such a beautiful animal!! NO WAY!much respect for not killing it, to many people run into things like this and without thought just kill them. good choice, beautiful snake..... i woulda pissed myself and ran like a girl
Oldfella, just wanted to " Thank you " for not killing the snake. Most people would have killed it whether it was venomous or not. My hobby is venomous snakes, have about 40, and they are some of the most docile creatures you will ever find. Most people fear what they don`t understand. Thanks again for doing the right thing.
Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand Australia is resident
to 10 of the most poisonous snakes in the world. Fierce snake being the
most venomous land snake. And that damn brown is up there too !!!!
