Hello everyone on PM! :)

Summary: Need help finding out what is wrong with my health!

I have for 5 years had a really hard time with (what I call chronic nausea) because that is what it is, nausea almost all day. Its worst in the morning, almost never get any breakfast down and I feel like a walking zombie with almost no appetite for food.
I have been to different doctors, physiatrists etc. over the years, nothing has shown on any test, not any levels are wrong or elevated. I’ve taken gastroscopy, colonoscopy (yeah that was fun...), lactose- and many different intolerance tests.

Here are the symptoms I feel every day, and have been consistent over years:
- That feeling that your going to throw up --> really bad nausea
-Hardcore fatigue (even felt asleep while I was writing something in class)
- Loss in weight even I try to gain. (Mostly from being too sick to eat enough calories, but should not lose weight when I eat good amounts of protein and are around my maintenance calorie-intake)
- Non-refreshing sleep (10+ hours sleep, and 45min later I can sleep 2-3 hours) (here I have tried every different sleep pattern, sleep much, little, in-between. If I sleep 6 hours, I can feel awake for 15-30 min, then it’s like I have never slept in my life afterwards)
-Very hard time concentrating, "brain fog», can’t remember anything!
- Poor digestion, I'm in the bathroom many times a day.
- Low immune function, often sick.
- Very sensitive to cold, I get really cold in the morning, even in a hot shower.
- If I get stressed I get really bad nausea, to the point of throwing up.
- I feel most energy in the evening, so I train late because that's when I have used all day to get the energy for my workout.

It’s hard for me having this life quality, on my road to the competitive bodybuilding scene, being an engineering student, husband and -soon to be dad-.

Stats:
Age: 22 years old
Height: 182cm - 5'9ft.
Weight: Currently 191pounds(87kg) - (down from 104kg(229pounds) january last year after my first cycle
BF: 13-14%
Only run 1 cycle before, Test/dbol at 500mg test/week. Gained 10kg (22pounds)
For about 6 months after the cycle I kept my weight at 211pounds (96kg), but then I got really sick and it’s been hard to keep much weight (although it seems my BF is down)
Currently started a Test/Eq cycle 500/400mg, hopefully I will gain some appetite and feel better, but it’s no solution and doesn’t get rid of my symptoms.

If you have any ideas, tests I should do, supplements to try, things I should do, I’m all ears : )

I donpt think anyone can help you without full blood work. Your symptoms could be from overtraining, depression to some seriouss ilness like cancer (which I doubt...If the docs cant find any seriouss illness after years of examinating this could be just in your head)

Wow man, I'm really sorry to hear that. And I mean that honestly, that sounds like an awful, awful thing to have to experience daily.

Please take the responses you get in this thread with a grain of salt...there are a lot of intelligent individuals on this board, but the majority of them are not doctors and can really only speculate on this sort of issue. I would look around for a specialist, perhaps internal medicine?

Just from doing a brief search (which I'm sure you've done before), the term that keeps coming up is "Chronic Debilitating Nausea." Couple links to threads and articles that speculate on causes and treatments:

Chronic Nausea and unexplained symptoms

This article speaks briefly about the tests you might consider to try and diagnose the problem:

What Are the Causes of Chronic Nausea? | eHow.com

Again, I'm sorry to hear this. The key to recovery is likely finding the right doctor - find one with a level head and a great deal of knowledge who knows how to approach the issue. What tests have you run before?

In the last 4-5 years, have you gone through any traumatic changes at work or in your personal life? Sounds like there is something eating away at you and you have yet to deal with it. (just a hunch)

So ALL lab work is normal then? You have any imaging done Head CT, MRI etc?

How about a sleep study? chronic exhaustion despite sleeping long hours, falling asleep during the day... Obstructive Sleep Apnea maybe...

all similar symptoms I have/had.. Tried many SSRI's started TRT for low test still felt like shit.. Had sleep study started BiPaP then started provigil.. big difference now...

Or maybe it's just a Parasite :)

So you have already had a full blood panel and nothing was out of range? You sure they tested cortisol and stuff related to adrenals?
Adrenal issues are often not diagnosed because some medical professionals don't even know adrenal fatigue exists.
My first guess based on what you are saying is liver issues, but if you have had tests and nothing was out of range, it can't be that. It seems that anytime I hear about symptoms like yours and no help from docs, its always adrenal related.

Are you high stressed? Do you use a lot of stimulants?

This too....even with normal lab work... Sleep issues, Stress, they feed each other and will kill you slowly..

I use to suffer exactly from that many many years ago.shit you brought back some bad memories .had same test done blood work you name it I had it done and everything came back ok.i took a Xanax once and felt so good ate like crazy and felt life in me again..so I said to myself I was suffering from anxiety without knowing I was and this is were the symptoms was from.from that day on I always had one OR two with me at all times and only took it if I needed it.one was always enough but I carry two in case.after a month or two of using them I didn't get the symptoms no more so I stop taking them but still have it on me just in case.it may not be your answer but it worked for me.wish you the best I know what you going through and it sucks.at times I felt I should just kill myself cuz I couldn't keep living like that specially if they couldn't find anything wrong with me.but I'm not a quitter so I kept fighting.i found the lord and till today I have never looked back again.good luck bro..God bless

If I had to guess, and I am, I would go with Celiac's disease or something similar. Have you ever seen a gastroenterologist and been tested for celiac's?

Yes , 10 y ago i had same symptoms and thought i was dying. it was scary. Dr put me on clonopin and all symptoms were gone in a day. I felt like reborn again.
Got off clonopin and started paxil after 6 months. Been on paxil for 10 years and feel great.

Damn, forgot about this too.. classic symptoms.. chronic fatigue, nausea, cognitive issues, digestive issues, immune suppression..

More like Gluten Sensitivity than Celiac Disease maybe, but something to follow up with your Dr. with

You need a different Dr.

Post your bloodwork. Also, find a homeopath who is also a full MD.

Get tested for sleep apnea. I toss and turn non stop and doubt I ever get much stage 3 sleep. Every few days I'll need to sleep for 24 hours straight just to get energy to go out in the world again. The lack of deep sleep causes nausea, depression, anxiety, etc..

I hope you figure things out soon and have a better quality life. Good luck!
;)

I'll post my last blood work from the doctor, about a month ago. That was all good, and we even took some more special tests included. Will post when I get it from my doctor :)
I started after a while to believe it was all in my head, doctor after doctor, and all the hours talking to a shrink. But I know, with my attitude towards life, positivity and goals, it can't be something I'm just making up.
Even if I can't figure this out, it won't stop me, just makes it a hell of lot harder.

Thanks man :) I truly appreciate your efforts and kind words, I just recently was lucky enough to get the best doctor in my city and he really wants to find out whats wrong with me, that helps alot, the doctors I had before was just ... yeah, not good. Tests : gastroscopy, colonoscopy MRI of my head, CT of my Abdominal (with contrast), Ultra-sound of my belly, lactose- and your standard food-intolerance tests.

In the last 4-5 years, have you gone through any traumatic changes at work or in your personal life? Sounds like there is something eating away at you and you have yet to deal with it. (just a hunch)

When this started to occur my life was good, first year of high school, got a nice girlfriend, but then I got the flu and had nausea, I thought okay just the flu, but 2-3 weeks after the normal flu symptoms was gone I was still nauseated and it has never gone away.

Full Blood Panel
Will post as soon as I get an email from my doctor :)

Or maybe it's just a Parasite :)

I have done MRI of my head, CT of my Abdominal (with contrast in my blood), Ultra-sound of my belly

I have yet to have a sleep study, only tried to register with a app on my phone, that says I have somewhat 50-60% deep sleep a night, how accurate this is I don't know :p Have taken some pills for parasite and maybe this would show on either my gastro or colonoscopy. But thanks, I will talk to my doctor about a sleep study :)

I have the last days read about the adrenal glands, and this is something I will talk to my doctor, but my symptoms and the adrenal gland fatigue symptoms are a lot of the same, but I don't know how my glands would be fatigued?

I personally don't believe in stress, but that is my head, how my body reacts can be a different thing. I like stimulants before training and the first formula of jack3d was a big thing for me with mental focus and energy, but I never went over the recommended dose and had time off. I can drink a liter of caffeine and still go to sleep..

This too....even with normal lab work... Sleep issues, Stress, they feed each other and will kill you slowly..

Thanks for sharing your story bro, I'm glad you found something that could help you, hearing this I will consider doing something I have thought about some time, changing my psychologist, she doesn’t believe in pills but I would like to try some just to see.. I am a worrying human being about other people’s health and best interest, but I don't see myself suffering from anxiety, but maybe like you I am unknown of this.

If I had to guess, and I am, I would go with Celiac's disease or something similar. Have you ever seen a gastroenterologist and been tested for celiac's?

I have had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy and they tested my colon with tissue samples (sorry if to graphic)

Thanks man, this is something I will have to take futher with my doctor, thankfully my doctor is great, but still in my country the doctors are hestitated about presciping medecine :/

Damn, forgot about this too.. classic symptoms.. chronic fatigue, nausea, cognitive issues, digestive issues, immune suppression..

I have now a good doctor, only been with him one session and looking forwards to meeting him again soon and brining all these new lights to the table :) even Gluten and Celiac has been mentioned both at my doctor and at the hospital (when I was very Ill, I was hospitalized for 5 days).

Post your bloodwork. Also, find a homeopath who is also a full MD.

Will do, I have been to a homeopath for some years, but not who is a full MD, don’t think I will be lucky enough to find this where I live. Will research around a bit.

;)

I hope I get my sleep tested soon, it's something I haven't thought much of, and my girlfriend haven't noticed(or said) anything about my sleeping, other than I can sleep whenever I want and for how long I want :p

Had lots of similar symptoms, dropped gluten from my diet off a hunch because my father has Celiacs. Feels like I was given a whole new life, would strongly urge spending a few weeks altering your diet and seeing if you notice any changes.

Well anxiety doesn't hit everyone the same way.what u seem to have are some of the symptoms of it.now if u ever get a full blown anxiety attack then u have experienced what the attack feels like so after your first one you will not only have the symptoms u are having now but it will be accompanied by the horrible feeling of the attack...all I'm trying to say is try it for few days if u have access to a few of them.if it don't work then move on.it beats the he'll out of all the darn test.also its easy for your psychologist to say she don't believe in pills she aint the one going through the shit.anxiety is not something you can control.there are few technics u can do to help ease it a little bit but u can't stop it completely.its caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. any how I truly wish you figure it out bro I really do.i feel your pain

Get a sleep study... and get tested for lymes disease. Have you blood sent to Pen state if you come back negitive incase you are false negitive.

everything you mentioned can be cured with weed. Sounds stupid, but id say its worth a try.
