Where I get my awesome bodybuilding genetics from

Here's a recent photo of my father, my mother, and my niece.

Clearly, I was destined to be a bodybuilder

But seriously, I couldn't ask for better parents. They have been awesome to me and raised me very well (though I've definitely disappointed them a time or two...).

I don't see such bad genetics for bodybuilding although it appears that your father is clearly an ectomorph! Mom looks like she's got some strong mesomorphic tendencies to me though.

Nope... I'm the only one in the family to ever do anything "sports" related or physical. Sometimes my Dad gets asked if he's "sick" - I think the shaved head plus being thin kind of gives him the cancer look, at least in some people's eyes.
He used to be very into competitive target shooting, and is now into very into flying (owns his own plane, teaches others to fly, etc.). He's definitely where I get my motivation and discipline from... and also what little brains I have

My mom is thick but puts on fat very easily (my Dad actually does too, he's been a lot heavier than this before and it wasn't pretty). She's got really thick lumbars... whenever I hug her I always squeeze on them a bit

185 was his heaviest... I think he's about 150 now, and he has been as low as 135 a few years ago but he looked really sick then. He looks "bulked up" in comparison now, lol.

He would always enter "dieting contests" at work, like whoever can lose the most weight in 30 days wins a gift certificate to the local ice cream parlor, lol. He would always win (even against much bigger guys) because his willpower was very strong. Reminds me of my first diet when I was a chubby 11 year old, I lost 30 pounds one summer, all on my own (I think I just ate 1000 calories per day or something goofy like that).

My dad's calves are actually pretty thin, maybe the camera angle makes them look a bit better.

No, it's in Tennessee at a cousin's fish farm. They have a family reunion there every summer.
