What do you do/take before you train?

Personally, I psyche myself up with music and focusing on the muscle group im about to hit and then kill it in the gym. Carbs in the meal before i workout obviously..I dont take any nitric oxides/pre-workouts, do you? I was considering throwing in a harmless nitric oxide (suggest one to me if you dont mind :rolleyes:) on top of the carbs already. What do you guys do?
 
Just before i train i will put in the blender, 100g oats, 10 egg white and 40g whey, mixed with water.....

Tastes great...

Matt, I do the same but not that much plus I throw in some powder supplements and at times I come close to throwing up, I usually take it about 45 minutes prior to lifting. When do you take yours? Thanks :)

I take about 10 minuets drinking it and its like the first meal of the day for me, i then drive to the gym which takes about 20 minuets...

I always train in the morning and i then have the exact same thing when i get back from the gym...
 
200mg Caffeine
25 mg Ephedrine Sulphate
400mg Guaifenesin
81mg Aspirin

5 min later...


BAM!!!
 
Caffeine, arginine n creatine. Relax and save the adrenaline for the weights as much as I can.
 
3 VPX Meltdown gel caps, then aminos, whey and small amount of fruit juice mixed. Also take extra yohimbine on top of what the gel caps contain. Carbs come from low GI carbs in pre workout meal about 60min before gel caps. When I use my winny I take 50mg with my pre workout meal.

Use to use eca religiously for years, but ephedrine is a vaso constrictor, so I don't fuck with it anymore. I have an albuterol inhaler, but rarely use it.
 
pre workout meal for me is usually 3 five oz tuna cans and around 1 cup of white rice
 
I always do cardio first thing in the morning. My pre-cardio routine is: 30 minutes before cardio I take 2.7mg of yohimbine HCL, 4500mg of L-carnitine, and 200mg of anhydrous caffeine.

An hour before training, I usually drink a venti americano (strong coffee). About 30 minutes before training, I eat a bowl of instant oatmeal sweetened with some real maple syrup. On the drive into the gym, I listen to tunes that get me fired up. That's about it for my preworkout ritual (I take BCAAs during the workout)
 
Caffeine. lots.
 
2 hours before training big meal
mashed potato s 3/500 gram
300 gram minced meat
1 hour before training
1 red bull energy drink
30 minute s before training
noxpump or horsepower or whiteflood

but guys watch out with the prework outs and energy drinks
bloodpressure wise and that you dont build a dependence on
certain things

Coffe. It keeps working, so... I also find that a large can at the grocer is much more cost effective than all of the preworkout stuff that I have seen. It is time tested for me.
