HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE! What do y'all do?

Currently on 750 mgs/week of test cyp and I have pre hypertensive systolic bp, but regular diastolic. The exact numbers were 134/75 and 131/75. Checked it twice to make sure. The cuff was not too small either. I don't do much cardio because I'm trying to get my weight up, but if it will help then I will.

I have a family history of high blood pressure, so I'd like to get it in check while I can. So my question is; is high intensity like sprints better for my bp or long distance jogging? Or something in the middle? I currently take baby aspirin and coq 10 for heart health, but I know supps will only do so much. Any type of advice on what I could do would be great!

I wish I was as enlightened with knowledge as some of the members on this forum, that way I could help everyone as much as they help me! Thanks bros!
 
I have seen bp alot worse. AI will help reduce water and lower it. Also I am having good success with hawthorne berry extract. My bp hovers around yours and I have reduced it to 115/68. I take it once a week , three times that day.

How many mg do you take of Hawthorne berry? I must get that! Yeah, I know it's not high, but I'd just like to get it taken care of sooner rather than later.
 
That is high normal blood pressure...I will invest in machine and measure every night that way get feedback from supplements that you take and cardio type. Do you take caffeine energy drink that can reduce it as well if you eliminate the caffeine and sodium...

Yeah, I do take a pre workout. So it's normal, but on the high side? Pardon my stupidity, but it is alright for the time being correct? I will work on it and do cardio from here on out, so im hoping it will drop within the next few weeks. Plus I end my cycle in two weeks. I'm glad it isn't too high especially because it took 10 weeks for it to get that high and it's still in normal range. But from now on I'll be doing cardio! I got to stay healthy for the Family!
 
I gave up lisinop for garlic . It might be in my head .
Take aspirin a couple times a day .
Fish oil .
I would watch salt intake .
I would buy Coq10 if wasn't so much .

My BP is higher than yours but I feel if I was to withstand high lifts then you have to be somewhat inflated as if a tire with low pressure bulges out from weight . A good excuse for poor health .

Yeah, I currently take 200mg coq10 daily. You think aspirin should be taken multiple times daily? I only use it in the morning. I really do need to watch my sodium intake. It is a little high some days.
 
Bottom number is normal less than 80. Top number is above 120 (which is the normal) but less than 140 prehypertension. So top border line they call this isolated systolic hypertension google it but I think you can manage it. I have it mine is always 145 78 no gear or nothing so been monitoring it everyday

honestly I would take those numbers any day of the week...

I have to take ... amlodipine/benz 10mg/40mg once per day, sometimes twice a day...also take hawthrone berry, and CoQ10 twice to 3x per day...also do a min of 30 mins of cardio per day...if not 45mins...I dont feel like the extra cardio doesnt hurt my growth, it actully helps it..IMO...train HIT/DC style 4 times per week...I eat kinda clean most times, weekends are a bit looser... I dont like to take stims/caff most days..only on days I train if I really need it from a hard day of work...if I can get without it, then I do...I use amino infusion pre workout, and it seems to give me enough energy and focus for training..

Cayenne pepper pills. I know a guy that swears by them and I've tried them a couple of times with success. It's kinda temporary but if your way high it will bring it down fairly quick.

Those numbers are perfectly fine lol. I was over 150/90 at one point. Came in at ~130/80 the last few weeks and I'm happy with those numbers.
 
Everyone of y'all have been a huge help! I know the numbers aren't too high but it's better to be safe then sorry and get it down now. Especially with all of the horror stories I hear about my family's high bp. I'm getting Hawthorne berry today. I'm going to continue to monitor it, do more cardio and take Hawthorne. I'll post in a few weeks if the two have changed it! Thanks to everyone at PM!
 
Has anyone tried 10 mg per day of Cialis to lower BP while on cycle?
 
500 mg Hawthorne
Fish oil something at least 400mg of EPA
Stinging Nettle
Co Q10 200 mg
Magnesium

Cellery Seed is supposed to help but I have never personally used it.

My BP was 185/88 and I have it down to 143/71 now, still a bit above normal but huge improvements.

I took a med called Cozar at one time as well it was excellent -had the least sides.
 
Thank you everyone! I will now be taking Hawthorne and adding more cardio into the mix. This forum is a savior!

Yes. The cialis lowered my systolic and diastolic by about 10 points each. For me, that still wasn't low enough. I finally went to the doc and got put on lisinopril. Now, my bp is in the normal range.
