well boys, college ball is BACK

the missus an i are michigan fans, she's the biggest fan in the world, i swear and she converted me to big 10 ball. all i have to say is JIM HARBAUGH!! looking for some good stuff this season, away from the last shitty seasons they had. i'm thinking they go 8-4.

haha - okay, just so i know who everybody is

not expecting a stellar season this year, but i will say that what mr. harbaugh did for san francisco (a superbowl and 2 nfc champ games), not to mention his stats @ stanford and univ. of san diego, he has a record of turning programs around.

BUT, let the hating begin lol

but who's your team, bro? just curious as to why you'd say that seeing as how they've gotten a new regime going on. i know they've had a few bad seasons in years past n i could go on about that (but i won't lol). i just want to know if you know something i don't.

Haha I'm just giving you shit. Probably because I went to Delaware and we have the exact same jerseys as Michigan, except we have always sucked while Michigan used to be really good. Our only bragging point is the fact Rich Gannon and Joe Flacco have been so successful in the NFL. But really, Michigan is only getting attention now because of Jim Harbaugh. No one other than hardcore Michigan fans can even name a player on the team.

yep. funny thing is, my girlfriend (soon to be wife) is the biggest MI fan ever. i shit you not, she listens to a MI radio show every morning, tweets with the big bloggers, organizes 'tweet-ups' with other fans, she puts other 'fans' to shame. she knows about the 2016 recruiting class,knows who the coaches are scouting next, hell, the only reason i know what i know is b/c she just fills me in. i honestly don't have time to keep up. she runs both of our fantasy football leagues, goes to my fantasy draft with all my friends and is the only female there, she's something else.

oh, and what you said about MI only getting attention b/c of jim harbaugh is absolutely correct.. he's such a dynamic character and has such a competitive record as a coach and MI has sucked so bad in recent years that the spotlight is now on them.

not for a first game, new coach, it being away and utah's a good team. the QB was the problem last night, three INT's and overthrew 2 key passes that would have netted FG's or TD's, and they only lost by 7 pts. MI was down by 14, but they scored their last TD late in the game. there was no quit in them whereas last year they would have given up.

different team than last year, i say they get 8 wins.

Michigan season ticket holder here. I love in Cbus and we make the trip up for every home game. Last night was exactly what I exoected. A great defense with real talent and an offense with young guys lacking talent and a dynamic quarterback.

Honestly for rationale fans I think the game went exactly how you would expect. They played a good team last night away with a new coach and quarterback. This team needs time to gel and has real talent issues on offense. This is a 7-6 or 8-4 at best type of year and that's ok.
