In a perfect world, one would run a protein only diet to maximize dnp's results (precisely what you're doing), but in your opinion (that EVERYONE highly values on the subject
), would still keeping some carbs in meals (let's say around 150-200g/day) make dnp absolutely useless?
What I mean is, following your reasoning, it takes EMPTY glycogen stores (both liver and muscles) to burn fat as fast as humanly possible... and this is true, especially on DNP where there is NO metabolic crash after suppressing carbs, vs without dnp where after a few days you'd see a dramatic fall of thyroid hormones, therefore metabolism and calories from fat burnt.
BUT, as a matter of fact, it's also undeniable you can still burn bodyfat while consuming carbs (low to moderate amounts) and having glycogen stores not totally empty... everybody training twice a day and doing lots of cardio while still having carbs quickly realizes it.
So, my question to you now (finally lol): in the latest case, for example, would it be useful to add a small dose of dnp hoping it will increase metabolism thus fat burning, or would said dnp only waste those carbs away faster, making it counterproductive for subsequent lower glycogen stores would impair performance and prevent you to train as hard therefore burn kcals?
In short (in case my question wasn't that clear
), pointless (counterproductive) or useful to use dnp when you still eat carbs and train hard/often?
Your input is appreciated... [emoji14]
