Sterilizing needles

I've got a whole bunch of needles that I only use one time. I sterilize my kid's bottles. I tried to buy some needles yesterday all they have was 31 gauge. I think I'm going to soak these in bleach and then boil them. Has anybody ever done this

Just no. This is an IM injection into blood and muscle tissue. If you can't procure or afford sterile syringes and needles (so easy via internet) don't do this.

Amazon or gpz med lab or med lab supply.

BTW I'll use the same insulin syringe multiple times for water based GH injected sub Q but deep IM... no. I say this so you know it's different and has different risks. Also sterile enough for food going into a human digestive system with acid breakdown is not nearly so risky. You are just cleaning them well.

You are taking a big risk doing this and it's so much better ordering them online. I'd never entertain on ever attempting to reuse needles even if they have been re-sterilized as they wear out quickly.

Skip the shot, order on Amazon will be at you home in a day or two. Even if you sterilize them, they're dull.

You can also call the Walmart pharmacy and just order some. They don't ask any questions. Or they might have something that works in stock If they have to order it usually takes a few days and a box of 23-1 BDs is like $15

I have a buddy that used his needles twice for Im injects. Couldn't talk him out of it but he never sterilized them or anything and never got infections. I wouldn't do that personally as they got to be dull af. Plus a trip to the doc or buying some doxycycline online is more expensive then a box of pins.

That being said if you still continue on let us know how it works.

i had a buddy not only ask me about "sterilizing" old needles, but "re-sharpening" them. he also pinned his oblique



a guy asked me how to pin his chest. i said to pin it in the middle.

he injected into his sternum.

I reuse insulin syringes once in quick succession (same day) that's it.
