it will work on occasion, but if you are suffering from cumulative sleep deprivation it is not a long term fix. you will feel awake but have permanent racoon eyes and your reaction times will not be as fast as you think they are (as the provigil makes you think you are more aware than you really are). also the regular decrease in sleep will mess up your progress in the gym. you may feel refreshed, but your body is not going to be fully recovered.
when i used provigil some people thought i had a coke problem. also it gave me nervous tics. i can't really recomend the stuff for regular use. used every once in a while it can save the day.
