like most of us I was on again off again with training and typical see-food diet to “get big af”. this time I’ve been training consistently for 8.5yrs. on gear for maybe 3yrs, started test/deca (500/300) and ofc threw in tren because “everyone was doing it.” having no real clue what I was doing. just videos and threads. diet was good but not on point. I knew I needed someone to actually coach me. looked around and got with a coach last June ‘23. went from a sloppy “bulked” 223 down to a lean 193. entered a rebound phase then a full bulk and went up to 239.6. changed coaches respectfully (not a regret because I did learn some things) then I knew something was wrong w my diet. so I told my coach thanks but i’m moving on; then dieted myself down from 220 to 200.
got a hold of my original coach and am back to work with him. I said that while I do not compete I want to get into contest shape. I went on a two week free diet filled back up to 220; and the goal now is 185.
my legs are well behind because I had a nasty right hamstring tear and honestly was just afraid to train them for two years after. now i’ve been focusing on them for two years and they’re coming along but have a good ways to go.
ppl who don’t train ask me all the time if I compete or say I should and right now I feel like isn’t the time. really wanna bring up my legs and core then give it a go.
all this just to say, I’ve been a member here for like 3yrs but never posted much; mostly read, and am just trying to introduce myself more
