81% of English Men Overweight!

It seems that by 2020 81% of English men will be overweight! 41% of all men morbidly obese and 40% merely overweight.

8 out of 10 men overweight? 7 out of 10 women overweight? This is a real crisis!

As if the Anglo-Saxon male wasn't seeing increased pressure in every aspect of his life, this obesity epidemic will surely shorten it!

Govt needs to stop chasing steroids, and start encouraging these people to be more active and eat healthier diets!

It never ceases to amaze me how Govt dietary guidlines recommend 11-13 servings of bread/pasta daily and only 2-3 servings of meat/protein -- and then they have an obesity problem 15 years later!

More information below:
Eight in 10 English men 'will be too fat by 2020'

No doubt! And to add, they (gov./lawmakers) don't mind selling cigs. either *LOL*. But hey, let's save the world form hormones, right. People will be sheepeole tho, *LOL*.

.

The solution will be some sort of direct medical intervention via technology that solves the obesity crisis via physiological manipulation. Every country -even in countries where the population is viewed as being generally underweight (e.g. China or India)- begins to develop a massive obesity problem when it becomes industrialized. Humans did not evolve to live in an environment with widely available food that tastes great and is easily obtained.

Unfortunately, like certain problems caused by sexual liberation, the innate drive is too great for an abstinence campaign to ever actually work.

hmmmm wouldnt suprise me the way england is going, its became taboo for young girls to want to diet even when clearly some are not at ideal weight. my sister for example is by no means skinny however when she surgests dieting my parents always say she dosent need to ect ect. ive said there doing her no favours for later on in life as the older she gets the harder it will be to get back to an ideal weight however this falls on deaf ears.

of those stats thought im classed as overweight my doc told me im obese when im 200lbs 5,9 waist 32 Bf 13-14%. "yes but bodyfat dosent matter its a persons BMI which counts" NHS ... FAIL

Strangely enough, its taboo for young brit girls to diet... but openly accepted for them to slosh through London or Newcastle sloshed off their ass. I mean drunk to the point that they're walking through the street with their panties around their ankles and urinating in public.
The UK is seeing a large influx of people developing cirrosis of the liver in their 20s and early 30s.

Both Americans and Western Europeans are in a destructive cycle! As we lose our countries, our freedoms, and our economic independence; we are increasingly seeking distraction in the form of alcohol or drugs.

Between morbid obesity, heavy alcohol use, and the "outlawing" of anything even remotely masculine, there won't be anything left for our enemies to tear apart in 30 years.

English as in British or English as in an American?

how can you be english and an american surley to be english you have to be a descendent of english parents or born in england and to be american the same but in america. barring having parents from both or born in one parents in the other and all the other daft stuff football/ soccer players do to play for different countrys.

This article was online today. Obesity seems to come with advanced civilization. The easier it is to obtain the food, the fatter and lazier the people are.

A 25-year-old woman weighing 528 pounds (240 kilograms) gave birth to her first baby on Thursday in what one expert called a rare and risky case.

"I wanted this child with all my heart, whatever the sacrifice," the Adevarul newspaper quoted the mother, Victoria Lacatus, as saying.

Her healthy baby girl, born by cesarean section, weighed 6.4 pounds (2.9 kilograms), said Bogdan Popescu, a spokesman at Bucharest University Emergency Hospital, which is equipped to treat obese people.

Dr. Daghni Rasasingham, of Britain's Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London, said the case was rare, given the mother's weight and height of 5.25 feet (1.6 meters), and that she would be at risk of clots, diabetes, post-birth bleeding and infection.

Popescu said Lacatus was being carefully monitored because she suffers from a thyroid problem and post-surgery complications could develop because of her morbid obesity.

Florin Costandache, who helped perform the operation, said: "It was a real challenge because she needed four times the anesthetic a normal person needs."

The chief surgeon, obstetrician Valeriu Horhoianu, said at least 10 obese women have given birth at the Bucharest hospital, but they all weighed less than 352 pounds (160 kilograms).

Nicolae Cernea, a doctor from the southern city of Craiova — where Lacatus was hospitalized for a month before delivery — said her case was unique in Romania.

In August 2008, a heavier obese woman — 560-pound (255-kilogram) Leanne Salt — gave birth to triplets in Britain.

Society will have to start putting DNP in the water.. Just like they did with Flouride years ago.
