Almost every competitor who goes for the artistic style, even the very best, almost always makes at least one move or transition or hits one pose in a way that goes from strong-artistic to feminine-artistic. And that's even the best of them.
But even if you did the artistic style of posing perfectly, it still really doesn't embody what bodybuilding actually is. People will call it an art, but it's not. It's a weight lifting sport with a diet aspect, and it's about being intense and strong and powerful and freaky and awesome. It's testosterone fueled. The closest it comes to art is when it has a romantic component, and for that reason posing to an R&B song can make sense. If you want that orchestra type of sound, like when Jay Cutler posed to Andrea Bocelli's "time to say goodbye" (although i dont remember if that song has quite an orchestra behind it), then the posing should be statuesque and majestic, not artistic per se. Certainly no windmill transitions, shooting a bow and arrow in a musical, types movements.
A simple rap, rock, or R&B tune, no choreographed routine, just lots of practice in the mirror so it's natural, go out and read the room, and play to the audience, displaying your raw, freaky, powerful, shredded body for what it is.
