A bump on my ass! What could it be? Win a prize if you're right

So I have this bump on my ass from test enanthate, and a localized bruise where it went in. It seems like a hardish lump about the size of a nickel, and is painful. It's not hot or radiating heat, I don't have a fever, and the area around it isn't largely swollen. This started the day after the shot and now it's day two after the shot (shot on monday, now it's wednesday). Revol labs seems notorious for swelling people up, or so I hear. I plan on baking my gear, but in the meantime, who else gets a painful bump or knows what in the hell it is? I've been using ibuprofen, applying a heat pack 3x/day, have bactrim on hand, and will work with someone (doing his residency in emergency medicine) to help me lance the bastard if it comes down to that (since I don't have health insurance). Just FYI, had some swelling from this same suspect gear a couple weeks ago in my deltoid that had me freaked out, but it didn't feel like such a defined lump underneath the surface, that time. Try This

Get some heat on it (like a hot bath) as hot as you can stand without burning yourself. After a few minutes you might be able to loosen the matter up a bit, while heated rub the area as hard as you can with you're knuckles. You could also after heating the area have you're girlfriend or significant other use a rolling pin to break it up.

Couple things!

This Can happen with lot of different Sauces mine usually goes away in 3-4 days I've had it happen with Prop, TestE and couple prop/tren mix. I have had it happen in my thigh, Ass, and Schoulder. Just massage it in the shower and when you have time.

Yeah, I originally didn't want to say anything bad about the company, but there was a thread on here not too long ago about a guy getting similar problems w/ Revol. And now it's twice that this has happened to me from them... and these shots are painful no matter what. So, not too sure what to think. Anyhow, good for you not getting any of this. Maybe I'm just sensitive to BA or something.

my hairbrained theories...

is revol EO based? have you successfully used EO based product before without this type of reaction? if it is EO it could be an allergic response to EO. baking would do nothing for it

it also could be a high solvent concentration. my friend had some 500mg/ml test a few years ago and had super painful lumps that would last a week. he cut it in half with sterile filtered cotton seed oil and had zero pain. it just needed to be diluted.

It is a depot formed by the estered gear. A sort of 'knot' that is "dissolved" over time from the same spot. All estered gear does this to some degree. You just don't feel it sometimes as it's deep enough or you worked that muscle group afterwards which I feel does increase absorption. Time to start a new thread.

I get the same reaction from sustanon. Hard painful lump, and sometimes slight swelling. You'll be fine it goes away in a few days

Did you bleed after injection? Perhaps you pierced a subcutaneous vein but the blood pool is deep enough not to show through the skin?

no, no bleeding afterwards. That's what I thought it could be, too... blood pooling after piercing a vein. My poor ass is feeling better, though. New plan: dilute test e w/ eq

This is another reason why I dont like glute shots. I can deal with some pain and swelling in the delts and other places but I cant stand to have to sit on a knot all day in till it goes away.

Cutting it with the EQ will def help out ......but also like said before....What I like to do is right after the injection I'll take a wet small cloth towl and run it under some water then stick it in the mic for alittle to get nice and warm...just make sure you dont burn yourself....then I like to lay the towl over the injection site and let it sit there for alittle....after a few min I start to massage the injection site for 2-3 min. Then repeat if you have to.

Have not had any probs since doing this. Again alot depends on the brand of gear you are useing as well.
