hcg diet...have anyone tried it? my wife been doing alot of research on this diet, when she first came home w this bottle and and was told that she can lose a lb a day w/o any gym time at all, i was like it sounds like a stupid scam. first u load ur body w as much food as u can for two days and then 500 cal a day after that for 30 day. i didnt want to believe it at first beut today is her 6 day and she lost 7 lbs i was like holy shit forreal. wat the hell is in that bottle?

well, it wouldnt work for a guy, atleast one with some muscle, when you starve like that your body will eat muscle rapid aswell, so well... youd be skinny ye, but ...

The premise of the HCG diet is "one is supposed to be able to eat 500 Kcalories per day" and not feel the hunger sensation. Nothing more, nothing less- as HCG with same caloric intake won't make you lose one ounce. The problem is these nutritional companies selling oral "fake" HCG with added stimulants such as caffeine etc. with zero HCG. Since when is HCG an oral medication? Now with the real form of HCG the premise of restricting calories would work obviously to lose weight. Since when is HCG available OTC? The fda does not indicate HCG as a weight loss drug so technically physicians prescribing injectible HCG- off label for weight loss are breaking the law and are open to suit. Restrict your calories and exhibit some self control. Who knows long term what HCG would do to hormonal homeostasis to woman. Would she lose her period??? Breast cancer implications? This fad will surely pass.

theow the "HCG" in the tiolet and eat 500 cal. a day and you would get the same results untill your body went into starvation. You can bet along with fat a good deal of muscle was lost as well.

Yea that! maybe real hcg would give you the feeling of satiety (feeling full!) but the fake oral- being sold and passed off in this diet scheme is junk. Haha even Dr. Oz says so....

My mom ran the HCG diet, with pregnyl I provided her. Did her very well. She lost about .7 lbs a day on average. She did limit herself to 500 Kcals a day, and stuck with it.

My wife did the hcg diet for 6 weeks and it worked for her. This is a very poor diet due to forcing your body into starvation mode and not getting anywhere near enough vitamins and nutrients. Using 500cal per day, you will lost weight quick. They claim the hcg makes it even quicker. Needless to say, my wife hated it and was miserable, so now she just carb cycles with great success.

My buddy did it at a clinic. He lost about 30 pounds in 30 days. It is supposed to reset your metabolism. It didn't.

Wow dude, do people think losing 30 lbs in only 30 days is healthy?

Anything above 4 lbs per week is unhealthy in my book, unless you are 220+ lbs of pure fat.

There is no doubt hcg diet is very effective for those people who want to reduce the weight of the body. I have already used this diet regarding weight lose and now I am fit by using this diet.

Agreed. Unless you are EXTREMELY overweight, or just starting a diet, anything over 4 lbs a week isn't healthy. Just starting a diet though, the first 7-10 lbs is supposedly waterweight.
