For the love of God!!!! I've seen the biggest and best pros shrink in a matter of months when they come off drugs and they still train!! You need to stop posting this nonsense.

Wonder how Big Kiwi did while he was in prison. How about other members in here that were incarcerated. That would be something to look at. How much did they shrink, and what did they weigh when they got out.
 
IM not saying that you can have the same look. Im saying if you trained heavy and hard for 10 years with "help" and you weighed 290 for 10 years...you sure as hell can stay at 260 in pretty good shape on TRT.

Justin was 288 on and he is 260 now. I saw Dusty get a Hernia operation done and he couldnt go near any training for 6 months and he was still a big boy at 263.

You dont just shrink back down to 185 pounds unless you were nothing but drugs to be big in the first place.

I do agree with this for the most part. I have had this experience. Before my heart attack I was a very lean 230 lbs at 6 foot tall. Now 2 years after my heart attack and not being able to lift hard and heavy and only taking 120 mg test/wk HRT I still weigh 225 lbs. My bodyfat instead of being about betwen 8-10% is probably more like 16-19%, so if I got down to be as lean as I was before I would weigh about 200 lbs or so. So I lost about 10% of my lean body mass and thats it.

I had been lifting hard and heavy for 22 years and used AAS for about 8. Im not sure which factor it is that had the greatest effect of me retaining some size, its probably a combo of both. I had been using GH for 2 years at the end too. I think if I had never lifted like I did and stayed natural I would probably only weigh about 180 lbs or so. My father used to be 6 foot and about 175 and we have similar builds.

phil, was your training the same as today when you were 250 back then....
 
10 "pros" in a room.........none of them know what the other " pros" are doing.......when they all open their " books" the reactions range from laughing to shocked to disgust........

You can if you were 250 to 270 for many many years prior JalSmiley.....and thats what dicedsix is saying....now if someone doesnt have the genetics to ever be 250 to 270.....yea impossible.

no, i agree with this...i was just reading it as a blanket statement...like i said i know guys bigger then 240 and lean...im sure we all do if you been in the gym scene long enough...i just read it as kind of too general...diced had it correct i read too into it

edit: let me use myself as a ref...whenever i break a high in my weight, i do see it much easier to get back to that point...ex: say im 190...i do some shit and get to 205...i take a bunch of time off and dont do shit, eat like shit etc...i end up at 190ish again...i find to get to 205 again is a piece of cake...now im pushing 210...i really do feel like if i took a break from the scene, that i could hit 210 at will any time in the future no prob, a lot quicker than it took me to itially get there

You cant because they really dont know the intricate specifics of how it exactly works yet....how is it curing sarcopenia? How the hell is it increasing IGF levels without exercise? Nobody knows....there are only theories

I have theories of what is happening with my training. Can I prove it scientifically. Not a chance. The Journal of Applied Physiology and Pubmed really doesnt give a shit about creating 4.0 pounds of muscle per inch of height bodybuilders.

Dante wery nice, not that many bodybuilders knows that Sattellite cells are implicated in muscle growth and regeneration.
 
Here is one cycle I did........1500 test weekly...50mg winny EOD, but ED last 4 weeks...........gh 4 iu daily.........

Thanks for sharing, I think that's a pretty solid cycle although I'm guessing some would disagree.

I watch a lot of those cats on t.v. on MSNBC Lockup that are jacked. Yeah they are in prison but drugs get smuggled in including roids....

A certain pro got locked up a few months ago and the rumor is he dropped about 80lbs in the first couple of months. No weights, and little food of course. It's just a rumor but heard this from a few sources. I guess we'll see when trial starts in august. But on the other hand a guy like Justin doesn't train, is sick, injured, on painkillers and only eats once a day and is able to maintain most of his weight. He doesn't have the psychological stress of being locked up though which can be very catabolic I can imagine.

IIRC correctly BigKiwi was still very big when he got out. Don't know what kind of situation he had in prison, if he could get much food etc.

I can def agree with this although I have always thought that saying one trains heavy is relative to the person lifting the weight. I train light, I train heavy, well the most important thing is do you train HARD and like a bodybuilder of course which I think goes without saying or should anyway.

You know how rumours work... if the rumor was that he is still looking great and is studying a degree and writing a book it would`n´t spread that much... but a rumor that he is all rotten, disgraced and raped twice a day would spread like wild fire... people love to hear disgrace and that´s the rumors that succeed.
 
I have another anecdote regarding pro dosages. :D

A guy just asked me if it would be worth it to go over 1000mg of test. Reason he considered increasing was he talked to several top pros and the average T dosage was 2 grams to maintain and 4 grams to blast and at least 10iu growth a day. The ones who did less relied heavily on insulin. Just another anecdote for whatever it's worth.:)
 
I have never been locked up so I can't speak from experience, only from what friends have told me but I am guessing if you want to eat more, you can. My friend was able to work (cleaning the handball court) and his family would give him canteen money (I think that's what its called) and he routinely bought extra peanut butter and beef jerkey.
Im not saying its as easy as we have it, but if you have 3 meals a day, plus extra peanut butter and jerkey (or whatever foods you can get), and don't do very much physical activity besides working out. I can see how some of these genetically gifted dudes stay yoked in prison.

I hear you. He's in jail though, not moved to prison since he's awaiting trial so there's definitely no exercise except one hour of walking from what I hear. I doubt you can get any extra food either. So if you go from 1000grams of protein a day to maybe 100 tops and there's bound to be major weight loss. Actually the rumor is he was moved to the psych ward since he was in such a bad state.

That's kind of a general statement there...Not sure what training hard really means in your above reference. The only reason I say that is because I'm sure this is another area that you and Dante would disagree on considering you referred to "training light and HARD like a bodybuilder" in the same sentence.
