Roche pulled it off last June. But you still can get generics in the US.

If you do it thru your doctor you have to get liver values and cholesterol checked every month. Mine were fine at 40mg but got bad when I jumped up to 80mg. Went back down to 40 and values dropped back down. Just monitor it and you'll be fine.

Booey is correct. Roche discontinued their branded version because they had less than a 5% market share due to generic competition. But for some reason the parasite lawyers always tried to sue Roche, even tho' their dim-witted clients were on the generic version. Roche has the money, the generic companies do not.

Roche took Accutane off the market for legal reasons. Because our legal system is out of control.

Accutane is still available, but it's going to be more difficult to sue Roche. Although the slip and fall crowd will continue to try.

Same story here, once a month for blood work, liver and cholesterol.
