Probably about 30-35 days in results became noticeable. I did 10mg for about 3 weeks and upped it. Not script though, I bought it overseas though it is pharma

And it’s fat soluble- make sure you’re having some fat in a meal around your dose.

The liver toxicity hype is way overplayed like Cage stated above. I go on and off 20mgs a day every few months and my liver values have never been out of range. Also like stated above you will have chap lips and dry skin and need to be careful with skin exposure. But if you have underneath the skin cystic acne or an oily scalp - there is nothing better than Accutane. I wish I had started taking it years ago.

Never experienced that or even heard of it. Don’t over think it - 10mgs in the am and pm. 20-30 days and you’ll be dry as fuck.

I hear of this with some topicals. A former training partner used RetIin-A/tretinoin on his back and shoulders. His break out seemed to get worse for about a week then started to clear. For what its worth, in the end he ended up using research chem accutane with success.

The “purge” absolutely is a thing. Accutane permanently shrinks your sebaceous pores in your skin. So when you take Accutane, you’ll go thru a 1-2 week period where your skin appears real oily and you’ll break out with acne, as those pores shrink up and release their oil.

You have two options for taking Accutane. You can take it at low dose for an extended period of time, or if you tolerate it you can take higher dose for a shorter period. Either way, to get the permanent effect, you need to take a total cumulative amount of Accutane equal to 120 mg per kg of your bodyweight. That’s how the dermatologists prescribed it. And that does effect most people’s liver values, which is why the dermatologist will run bloods every 4 months.

You can also take low dose Accutane to treat “flare ups”. 10-20 mg for 4-6 weeks. That will have a temporary effect of shrinking the sebaceous pores but you’ll eventually get acne again on future cycles and you’ll need to repeat the Accutane.

At 20 msg it’s not very liver toxic. But at 80 to 120 mgs it’s liver toxic enough that the dermatologist will monitor your bloodwork every 4 months. You take 20 mgs to knock down your flareups as they happen which is why you need to keep repeating that. A dermatologist will have you run a whole protocol and you’ll never get cystic acne again. It’s very effective but a lot of people can’t do over 80 mg without negative effects on their liver.

There was no sitting and leaning back in a hard back chairs!!!! If I’d slip up and lean back I’d instantly be reminded why I can’t do that. Shit sucked!!!!

it will amplify the aging/damage the sun does to your skin and likely lead to permanent redness and hyperpigmentation.
It's no joke. Slather yourself in sunscreen anytime you leave the house, even on cloudy days. arms,neck,top of chest, face, back of hands,
i'd also avoid being outside during peak UV hours generally 10-4
