Acne - Spot treatment

I don't get a lot of acne but I get a few bumps here and there. I am using j&j's persa gel for spot treatment...it works but takes awhile. Just curious as to what everyone else is using to treat the occasional break out??

Erythromycin gel works great. Put stop the acne before it starts with a good anti bacterial soap or cleansing gel from either Neutrogena or one of the brands out there.

well i used to get bad acne on cycles and when I was a teenegaer so i used accutane a few years back and now all i get is the occasional bumps here and there nothing majoe but when those few bumps do come out for whatever reason I use this topical cream by a dermatologist called wexler. She has a 2% systolic 9sp) acid cream along with the neutrogena topical acne spot treatment and it works very well for me. Also tee tree oil has shown to work very well.

When I was younger I used alot of pantheolic acid to help control acne wen i was younger and that also worked very well.

Nizoral and the Arizona sun help with my oily, acne-prone skin. Nothing the dermatologist prescribed me had much of an effect (I wasn't considered "severe enough" for Accutane).

how bad for you is accutane my girlfriend was put on it by doctor but is a little worried about any damage it might do
