This a little long but hopefully is going to be helpful.

I am quite lean guy year round, always about 12%bf or less. And even though I don’t have much body fat I have a toll of fat around my lower abs.

This has been developing for the last few years, even when I lost a lost of weight due to a surgery I still kept that roll.

About 2 years ago I had no energy, tired all the time, working long hours, sleeping about 6h a night waking up at 5am and taking one more fat burner to tart the day and them another to keep going and them a full pot of tea to not pass out. On top of that since I was about 10 I never sleep well. I sleep trough the night and/or wake up fully rested 3 or 4 times a year

I knew that something was wrong and that it wouldn’t get better on its own.

I talked to my MD and run a bunch of exams and said that everything was normal.

We did some more exams and… NOTHING.

At this point I decided to see a Naturopath.

She used Traditional Chinese Medicine and all my blood work for my diagnosis (my MD was very cooperative) plus a complete assessment of my overall physical state.

And… BINGO.

Adrenal fatigue + liver toxicity.

I just cut all caffeine cold turkey, took a series of botanicals, acupuncture and homeopathic remedies.

After a while I was feeling great but my roll of fat wasn’t gone.

I went back to my lifestyle long hours, lack of sleep, bla, bla, bla…

Last year I took the short form of Biosignature Modulation and Charles Poliquin just landed his eyes on me and said: high cortisol.

We stared doing case studies and they brought this woman that had a series of issues and he asked her if she woke up every night at the same time: yes she did!

He said that according to traditional Chinese medicine that was caused for a certain unbalance…..

About October last year I started to wake up EVERY night at precisely at 1 and 3 am.
Again I was tired taking pills and a load of caffeine to go trough my day.

I decided that that was enough.

I stopped booking clients early in the morning (I wake up at 6:30 am now instead of 5) and stopped going to bed after 11 am as well (normally 10:30 pm).

In December I set up another appointment with a Naturopath.

This was my 1sr caffeine free week and even though I felt that I just had finished fighting the whole Russian Army; I could push trough it. I felt exhausted every day between 12 and 2 or 3 and just didn’t have the energy to do weight training but could find a way to do some sort of cardio plus a Pilates class.

Yesterday I had another appointment with the ND she tested my reflexes and… they are crap (another sign that the adrenals are toasted). I was so tired that I slept during the acupuncture session. And even though I didn’t sleep a lot (only 7 hours as I had to teach a early morning class) I woke up feeling great.

Today I went to Chinatown and got some TCM medicine that supposedly will help me.

Next week I cut sugar all together.

Them alcohol.

Hopefully to the beginner of summer my body will be working properly and I’ll b able to go back to the gym and push as I like to do.

This lifestyle changes????

In my case they are mandatory if I want to be as healthy as I can.

The reason I am posting this???

I don’t know maybe just bring awareness, may be just making myself accountable…

How old you are ?

Bro, get the book Adrenal Fatigue The 21St-Century Stress Syndrome, by James L. Wilson. Stimulants will fry your central nervous system and adrenal glands. Sleep Apnea will also if you have it. Lots of times conservative doctors overook this as a thyroid issue.

You took the words right out of my mouth!

Visit a sleep specialist and have a profile done! It can't hurt and you just might have Apnea!

STEEDA~

Thanks for the replies

I live in Ontario, Canada.

I have done a lot of research about adrenal fatigue and liver toxicity as well.

Currently I am doing a TCM protocol that will last 6 weeks.

I already talked to my doctor and he told me about the sleeping clinic/apnea stuff and that will be the next step if this doesn't work.

I guess maybe I should just set up the sleep clinic visit for after the end of the protocol and see what happens...

how do you do this? there are a lot of people with this issue maybe you could help everyone ,Thanks

WELL

90% of people have adrenal issues and never know it. Please, please pm me and you need to try humanofort. It is a cheap way to protect your adrenals, prostate and insulin levels while at rest. This will save you thousands of dollars in the future.

I am writing this in reference to the PMs I received regarding Adrenal problems. Due to the large response, time does not permit me to personally reply to each one. I hope the following information is helpful.

During a visit to Romania, a product called Humanofort was brought to my attention. After reading 5 different studies on Humanofort I decided to bring Humanofort to the USA. In 2003 I was contacted by a company in England that was interested Humanofort to determine if the Romanian studies were accurate, and they asked Dr.Serrano (Cleveland, Ohio) to conduct a study on Humanofort. The most impressive findings in his study were that when the patient had high cholesterol or high cortisol, the cholesterol and the cortisol levels decreased an average 12.5 points in the cholesterol levels, and 6 points in the cortisol level. When the cholesterol level was normal, the cholesterol might go up, but it was still within the normal range. It was very impressive that when the cortisol levels were high, they had the biggest drop even to the point that one patient lost 17 points in the cortisol levels.

At this moment, as a pet owner, I am also focusing on the health of dogs and cats. I determined that many dogs and cats have health problems due to a poor adrenal function, so I applied information obtained from the Humanofort studies on humans and began conducting similar studies on domestic pets. I formulated a product for dogs called DOGtorRx and am currently formulating a product for cats. More information can be found on my website, www.petequinox.com. Hundreds of dogs have already benefitted from DOGtorRx.

Well that's just great to know as I'm taking humanofort right now,as part of my pct from my last cycle.

As far as I'm concerned there is a lot of pseudoscience and outright quackery when it comes to the "adrenal fatigue" topic. That's why the OP had to go to an "alternative" practitioner to get this diagnosis. There is just not a lot of support in the scientific literature to support a lot of these theories, from what I've seen.

I have heard of humanofort too by labarada too. I can get 60 caps for $30 after shipping. if anyone else can find a better deal, let me know (remember AFTER Shipping to a US addy!)

could humanofort be taken as a precautionary supp? and how much should be taken ed?

Yes, and you can take 300 mg per day ( 100 mg in the morning, 100 mg 1hr after training and 100 mg before bed time).

Humanofort is a product without toxicity, so if you heavy coffee drinker or taking stimulants, than you can take 400 mg per day(200 mg before bed time).

If you have adrenal function problem and you are from Cleveland, Ohio area, call Dr.Serrano MD, at 614-833-5520
