I had injury while living in az around 1991. I went from repping 455 for sets
to it being painful to bench a twist stick. Thought I would never have much bench again. started out benching a twist stick(broom stick) for super high reps . rehabbed it my self and came back to bench 515-525 for raw triples.
Not earth shaking wts but good considering where I started over from.
You know how I got hurt?! I was in pissing and getting a sip of water between setswhen some little fuck wad decided to "clean" the bench with get this armorall!About the 6-7th rep Im starting to dig a bit I slid/squirted down the bench and that was all she wrote. When I examined the bench it felt slick as a wet seal. It got really unpleasant for everyone in that little gym for a few minutes.You would be amazed at how the body can adapt with time. Good luck, T
