If you tolerate whey concentrate(or other milk based proteins) you'll be fine with this. It's very basic, unflavored whey concentrate.


You can pick up some premium flavor packets, mix it in with foods/drinks of your choice or just take it straight up.

how do i know if i can tolerate it? im not gonna buy 25 pounds right off the bat.. is there a smaller ammount at like gnc that i can get?

Go to walmart and buy either body fortress or 6 star protein. Its REAL cheap...maybe $15. Lol...If you can stomach either of those you can easy get down the recession whey.

It's a milk product... do you have any side effects from drinking milk? Upset stomach, bloating, indigestion etc... if yes then I wouldn't buy 25 lbs of concentrate.

If you have always tolerated milk well then concentrate is just fine for a protein source. It's "regular" whey that most people are used to.

Get some Icy Hot, Ben Gay, or Theragesic. Rub this liberally on your anus, if you don't experience any uncomfort then you will be able to tolerate it. Just to be safe though, rub the ointmant all over your Penis and Testicals as well.

Geez! They're saying that it may give you the shits. Most people opt for Whey Isolate which minimizes/avoids the toilet issues.

If you are lactose intolerant(many people are) you'd be running into some digestion issues for sure. Diarrhea being a common side effect hence his comment I'm assuming.

In an ideal world everyone would go with something like Whey Isolate(any filtration process) or a low/no lactose blend like Team Skip... but when push comes to shove it's sometimes about getting the most protein grams for your dollar.

If you are fine with milk, you'll be fine with this, or you could always email Carl over there and request a small sample(you'll have to cover shipping) and he will hook you up so you aren't buying something that will give you issues.

A few people have mentioned how this is a milk-based product that really isn't treated to take out the lactose... so if you have trouble with milk, there is a good chance you will develop a lot of diarrhea from this product. The milk proteins can go somewhat undigested into the large intestine, draw water from the body into the lumen space and voila- hershey squirt's, i.e. osmotic diarrhea.
