Apo-B

Anyone using Atrichoke Extract to drive their Apo-B score? Very cheap, $12 a bottle. I always see Citrus Bergamot being discussed but cant recall seeing anyone mention this. Lots of science behind its use and has additional liver and digestive benefits. Having my Apo-B levels checked tomorrow and based on where I fall my add this in and retest again in 4-6 months to see if it has an impact.

First thing is to get it checked. If it's a favorable number then you are fine.

What is your LDL normally? "Most" likely if your LDL is sub 90-100 your Apo B will be fine.

The best route would be to just drop your LDL using Ezetimibe. If you have a decent GP he/she can write it for you. Or just order it online.

LDL total does not fully vet the Apo B outcome. They do not run in parallel. Better just to test.

Ezetimide + A statin is the best way to reduce it down to 20-30 mg/DL

Ezetimide alone will drive it down, but it's not enough to crush it which will reduce your atherosclerotic risk considerably

Yup. Lower is better. There's no such thing as too low. Blood cholesterol only represents a tiny fraction of the total cholesterol in the body.

Thank you for all the input gentlemen. Probably should have titled this differently as was just interested if any had utilized the artichoke extract as that is new to me, I try to stay clear of drugs on top of drugs to correct side effects. Ended in the 95 percentie for my age so no concern. Not bad for 30 years of AAS usage.
