HEP B VACCINE

What are everyone's thoughts on this? yes or no and if so WHY? Thanks

(The pharmacy is offering me a free vaccine). typically I am against vaccines except for a few. I am pretty damn sure I got this as a baby

I had it before I went to grad school. No issues but....... about 12-18 months after getting it Red Cross stopped taking my blood because it popped for a "past Hep B infection". Apparently the vaccine is not suppose to do this but in my case it did IMO.

At the time I looked up the symptoms of a Hep B infection and I never had anything close to that. My GP didn't seem concerned but had me do a liver scan and it was pretty normal.

I will say my liver enzymes did run high since I was a young adult. I always attributed it to training.

If you are engaging in high risk sexual activity I would get it.

Just to be safe since then I always wash any ass personally before I eat it.

Didn’t we all get that vaccine as kids before going to school?

You’ll know whether you got it as a baby if you get an STD panel that includes hep B. It’ll say “immune” in the result. That’s the only way I know I had it
